I also have the 2004 F250 diesel. As to your water in fuel gauge, there is a fuel filter under the driver's side inside the frame rail. Owners manual will explain how to drain a little fuel to see if you have water in it. Couple of other tips: don't let this engine idle very long when it is cold. This puts unburned fuel in the variable pitch on the turbo and will ruin it. Ford calls this "wet stacking". Also, don't let your turbo boost go past 25 lbs. or you will blow hoses. I put a boost guage on mine. Last but not least, don't put a chip on this engine or you take a chance on blowing your head gaskets. Ford has had a lot of problems with this engine, but most of them can be avoided by using a little common sense. I too tow an 8500 lb. trailer and love the way it tows.

I emailed Carson Honda for 2008 Accord EXLV6 with Navi and got MSRP($30,895 + fees) quote from the internet sales manager Jun Pereyna .Can you please tell me the name of the sales person you dealt with at Carson Honda. Just want to make sure that this Carson Honda is the one in Carson city Calif. . Thanks for your reply.
704 mile round trip

Went from south of Fresno to Silver Springs Nevada, a 704 mile round trip. Went up Hwy 99 to the 50 across to Carson City. Per the cars computer. Average speed was 57 mph mileage 28.9 mpg Had the trunk loaded Very comfortable, quiet ride all the way. Did not even turn on the Infinity stereo, just enjoyed the ride. Going through the mountains on hwy 50 the car stuck like crazy to the road without wallowing, leaning or any feeling of control loss.. She just laid into the turns flat. I doo wish the seats had more of a support along the sides though. I hadn't noticed the lack of side support until I started pressing it into the turns. Total mileage on this car is now at 28,000 miles and still no complaints. Will buy it again. Its a 2006 Limited, Pearl white with Chrome wheels. Vick

I've had written confirmation of $1400 over invoice on a fully loaded 2008 HH Limited from two dealerships: Camelback Toyota (Phoenix, AZ) Carson City Toyota (Carson City, NV) Both dealership regularly deal with California sales (yes, local sales tax is paid on the transaction) and are matching each other in price and in effort to get me the car first. Hey Mike: I am in Reno Nevada. There is a huge Hyundai dealer in Roseville Calif (huge for this area anyway) about 1 hr away. There is also a dealer in Carson City ...about 45 minutes away (very small). Our dealer is stand alone (Lithia bought most of the city's car dealerships thru the years and there are not many independents left. Of course they will never get their mitts on Toyota or Honda or the likes! I would not want to be in the car business now! It is very hard to get a good price on anything unless you are prepared to really travel. Amazingly the service dept here is very good....ONCE THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN HYUNDAIUSA DECIDES TO TELL THEM!!!! They also had no idea about the plug and trailer harness. BUT when they looked it up, they added the lithia markup which would have made it come to about $97 + tax, instead of the $81.61 list price!if I remember correctly. I ordered the harness by phone, from Roseville (since it has become a matter of principal...not getting ripped off by local stealerships. Lots of paperwork and dealing with CA and Nevada DMV.... For some reason (maybe to get my next car purchase :P )they felt the need to make it right, so they adjusted the price so that the unit, Freight, and tax included came out to $82! If I stay with Hyundai, Roseville gets the business just for going the extra mile! regards jeff

The title thing is still questionable in my mind, but this is my understanding: - my assumption is that an out-of-state purchase is most likely to avoid paying state taxes; - in Nevada, we were told that you just have to send the MSO to the main motor vehicle office in Carson City, and they would mail the title back in 5 to 6 weeks. If you want it sooner, they recommended couriering the MSO along with a prepaid courier envelope for a return of 7-10 days. - there was no mention of sales taxes to get the title. This may not be the case in all states. If anyone has any definitive information on this, please share! Dan
