Example of DTS Quality by john178 on Mon Jul 27 20:07:38 PDT 2009

After reading about dead battery, electrical issues, and other such problems with the DTS, I feel fortunate that my 2006 Luxury ll, purchased new, and now with 55,000 miles, has only been to the service dealer for routine maintenance. I would buy another DTS in a heartbeat.

Re: Picking Up New LaCrosse tomorrow [nferr] by john178 on Sat Dec 31 09:25:52 PST 2011

It's great to hear about your new LaCrosse. And the black color- Wow! I understand your excitement. I had the same feelings when I purchased my 2011 CXL red LaCrosse last year. The Buick image has definitely improved with the LaCrosse ( and Enclave which we owned before trading in for a GMC Denali Acadia AWD, and Regal) addition to their lineup. I absolutely love my LaCrosse- it handles so well and the ride rivals the comfortable ride of a Cadillac DTS I had previously(2006). My friends constantly say they can't believe it is a Buick! This has been my favorite car of many I have owned over the years. Enjoy your new LaCrosse!!

Sidney, Ohio? Really? ;)

Re: OT Question [kyfdx] by fezo on Tue Jun 28 14:47:23 PDT 2011

Like that Sidney, BC. The harbor is always the key for a city named Sidney or Sydney. I'm betting that one is a fair piece colder than the one in Australia. And no opera house... houdini - watch out for Richard with your wife. That voice is the Barry White effect..... well, except that Richard is white, bald and still alive.... They must screen well on those BMW events. They've never invited me. Actually the nearest dealership is 30 miles away and I haven't bought anything that would put me on their radar.

It wasn't me who originally mentioned Sidney...that was Fezo. I may have replied I haven't been to Sidney though. I like that Sidney Ohio! But I have been to beautiful Sidney B.C. which is close to very beautiful Victoria. In fact the airport for Victoria is in Sidney. The population is 11000 and theere are 8 bookstores on the main street. Lots of retired people live there and it could be listed as one of the most beautiful cities around.
