>do almost all of your business in cash. Do just enough record keeping to show that your business is profitable and everything else in cash”. I have felt for a long time that our government would have enough money to please those elected spenders in DC (and Columbus) if the underground economy were actually taxed. Just as the candidates don't talk about the spending problems we have in DC in their campaign speeches, no one else talks about the underground economy. Allusions to its effects are made when they talk about a value-added tax or a Federal sales tax to catch all the spending and tax it. But they are actually effette at collecting any underground tax money due. The same goes for the internet purchasing and the states getting sales taxes on it.

Re: Toyota 2012 Camry SE V6 [dbabla] by autt on Tue Feb 07 17:22:30 PST 2012

29k wit taxes and fees is a good price for a v6 with the conv. pack. However right now the financing is pretty crappy. 2.9% over here in Columbus, Ohio. I would wait until the end of the year and aim for 28500 for this car with 0.9% financing.

Re: BMW again [stickguy] by kyfdx on Sat Feb 04 06:45:11 PST 2012

Just for comparison, google Northwest Auto Brokers Columbus.. He has two '03 325i right now... with miles in the '90s..... Asking $8995 for either... I know you aren't going there to buy a car.. but, it's pretty much exactly what you are shopping for.... a good price comparison..

Re: Acura TL base lease [asifp] by nissanmaniac on Mon Feb 06 16:15:49 PST 2012

well just got my TL SH AWD with tech for 456 a month, 12000 a year, out of pocket 3600. bottom line was I stick with msrp 39100 and he gave me on 31st january night. so by paying 3600 i bring AWD down to TL SH AWD MSRP. I had the best offer for TL SH AWD through car woo for 35500, so I went to my local dealer and showed him the quote ( I did not wanted to drive GA or Columbus OH) so by paying 3600 I bridge the GAP of AWD with AWD with tech. bottom line there is a big difference in TL AWD vs TL AWD with TECH, so my reco is to go for AWD with TECH. I wanted to buy MAXIMA but got the best offer for 34500 so the gap was only a $1000. let me tell you this thing rocks.

Re: Santa Fe 09 poor gas mileage [rosco804] by mtnman1 on Sun Feb 05 10:09:56 PST 2012

I have a 2011 Sorento EX V6. We get about the same mileage as you state under similar circumstances sometimes as low as 16.5 mpg. It is only rated at 18 around town anyway. We were doing better in the warmer months due to the difference in the Gas mixture between summer and winter I believe. Also it seems when it is cold we have always gotten less mpg. On a trip this past weekend from Columbus to Pittsburgh we got only about 23 mpg on the highway. In warmer months we get close to 26 and sometimes better than that. That's with the AC on.
