2008 ES W/Navi: by scraw33 on Sat Nov 08 16:28:31 PST 2008; Used the forum to research what people were negotiating and I believe it helped me out. We found last night that the Dealer in Pleasanton would accept 100 under invoice on 09's which was MSRP of 42K would take 36.9K. We opted for an 08 Premium Plus w/Navi that MSRP'd for 40.2K for 33K. Thought this would help if your interested in an ES. We dealt with the internet sales manager, eric who is quite a character.

Service F: by burosky on Tue Oct 07 07:51:14 PDT 2008; Just wondering what people here are paying to have the dealer perform Service F for a 2006 E350 with 32K miles. This is the first time I'm taking mine. If anyone had it done by an independent shop specializing in MBs, that will also be appreciated. I'm particularly interested in those who live in the San Francisco/Oakland/Pleasanton area. Thanks!

Purchased Yesterday: by vansmack33 on Fri Aug 29 11:09:12 PDT 2008; Purchased our new 2008 RDX w/Tech (silver/taupe) yesterday via internet sales at Acura of Pleasanton in the Bay Area. Here are the specifics: Purchase price $30,550. We did not want or get any other accessories at this time. 60 mo financing at Acura special of 2.9% I declare this a sweet deal.

I purchased the vehicle from Lexus of Stevens Creek. I shopped around all dealerships: Oakland, Fremont, Pleasanton, Putnam, etc. All dealerships immediately quote under $1000 under their invoice price (note that the dealer accessories like the cargo mat, etc. are not listed at edmunds ... I believe the dealers leave a couple hundred dollar room this way). From there, you gotta negotiate. My final price was $1500 under dealer's quoted invoice. good luck, BJ
