Re: 2008 Altima Hybrid price [kaloisa]
by ops1 on Tue May 27 12:05:22 PDT 2008
I purchased an 08 NAH with Tech and Sunroof about 7 weeks ago from Bruce Bennet Nissan in Wilton, CT. I shopped the deal pretty hard by phone and email, and ultimately Bruce Bennet was the best out the door price (about $800 better than the next best offer I had). At the time they had more hybrids than any other dealer I dealt with, but they did not have the color/equipment mix I wanted (they got it within 3-4 days). We love this car. After 2,500 miles, I have been averaging between 35-37 mpg with at least 60% of that being city driving.
Re: 2004 G35 Coup 6 Disc CD Player Problems [mike_bennet]

We had a similar problem and the dealer put in a new CD player. Works perfectly now. As an aside the CD player is 100% better than the radio for clarity. Amazing difference. agm18
2004 G35 Coup 6 Disc CD Player Problems
by mike_bennet on Sun Apr 22 16:35:53 PDT 2007
I own a 2004 G35 coup. I have the 6 disk CD player and whenever I put in a CD, it says “Check Disk.” I have tried multiple CD’s, tried loading all disk slots, and tried cleaning it, but nothing works. Even when I put the cleaning CD in it says “Check Disk.” I’m about to take it to the dealer. Can anyone help me?
Speedometer causing tranny problems?
by jrichman1 on Tue Sep 19 19:27:06 PDT 2006
I have a 1992 Chevy Van G-30 85,000.Automatic transmission. The tranny was rebuilt about a liitle more than a year ago. Today I was driving noticed my tranny would shift to 1st then 2nd but not into any other higher gear. then after about a block of driving I noticed my speedometer was not woking either, nothing it wouldn't even move. I was told that i needed a new speed sensor from my buddy, and i went and got one from bennet auto, but I can't locate it on the tranny. Where is this speed sensor located and is this the problem? I looked on my tranny and there are 3 plug like things that clip into the tranny, one of them is round with about 7-10 wires going into it and the other two are smaller with 2 wires going into it. But the sensor they sold me at bennet doesnot look like either, and i even double checked with the dealer and it is the right part, but I cant seem to locate it? Someone please help me if you can. Thanks in advance.
Re: Tire Noise [bennet1]

Bennet: "Google" tires, buy tires, etc. You can find any number of websites offering all makes of tires ... key in the 245/40R 19 parameters, see what comes up and by which manufacturer, and there will be customer ratings of the tires for you to review. On one website I found that size for ~ $200/tire ... but not Potenza's and not RunFlat tires. RunFlat tires, from what I've read (that's what's on my M35 Sport) are noisier and ride harder than the others. Personally, I've not been at all unhappy on either account with mine. BTW: How many miles did it take you to wear those Potenza's down? Bart :shades:

I really did want the feedback you gave, since after buying the 04 Crown Vic, I often wondered if I should have looked for a used 03 LS (or wait a little longer, since I bought the CV in Aug 04, maybe wait 2 months and the 04 LS would have also been a sued car, or the 03 would be 2 model years old)...just might still do it, but if they throw a 292HP in the future CV, the HP will be there, just missing the handling of the LS...also, I would bet the sound system in the LS is better than the CV, which is an old doddy unit for a geezer who just bought his first CD of Toney Bennet or Larry Welk (OK, Lawrence)
