Re: European Delivery 2008 C-300 [mbineu]
by kenhiggi on Thu Oct 18 19:21:56 PDT 2007
When I ordered my car back in July when the cars were just starting production. They gave me a date in August that worked out just fine for us. I'm sure you can get it faster now that they have production ramped up. We took delivery on August 13th and we dropped it off in Munich on the 18th. The car arrived in Scottsdale on September 21st. The trip was simply the best trip I have ever had. The car is absolutely fabulous. I do feel the radio/nav system is to complicated but in time I know I will get use to it. The Lexus LS-430 simply has a system that is much more user friendly. I bought the car from Schumaker in Scottsdale. My sales agent was Bill Lambert who was very helpful and very patient as we drove a number of cars before settling on the C-300. Bill is their EDP specialist and I will use him again in the future. I had them through in tinted windows. I sure they are not giving any more than the 7% discount because the cars are selling as fast as they come in. Good traveling, Kenny

Too funny. You may wind up sounding like Christopher Lambert in that Tarzan movie where he's supposed to be english, but he only speaks french.

Most people talk of Bradshaw, Swan, mean Joe and the great steel curtain, Lambert and the great linebackers and of course Franco and Rocky. But a great player often overlooked was John Stalworth. He made some of the greatest catches I've ever seen including two brilliant long ones in the Super bowl vs. the Cowboys. The late 70's, early 80's Steelers are still my favorite all-time team. OK - back to cars and Goodnight for now.
Toyota vs Chevy suburban
by lambert on Sun Apr 25 18:17:43 PDT 2004
I have owned 3 Land Cruisers(95,97,02) which I purchased new and have had no regrets. I have owned 2 Suburban 2500 4wdr (99,2001)and also enjoyed owning them. Off road capability and build quality I would give the nod to the Toyotas. For highway driving, power(no comparison)towing and interior space I would go with the Suburbans.  I am looking to buy a new SUV next month and I am considering the Seqouia,I am not to fond of the current Land Cruiser styling and the Seqouia is larger which I like. I will also be pricing a 2500 4 wheel drive Suburban. Tuff decissions.

I assume he's talking about Westboro Subaru in Ottawa, I believe they move the most Subarus in Ontario. I'm in Montreal often and I'd say Subaru des Sources is still your best bet. There's a dealer on Taschereau on the south shore in the St-Lambert area I think but I don't see that being a shorter trip.
