Well done Andy - It is a Super Minx. You can also see a blue TR4, white Ford Zodiac IV and another Rover P5 - a dark saloon one - and a white Vauxhall Victor FC 101 estate (with red roof)

"The Soviets won, just as they were the largest victor of WW2, no matter what our propaganda textbooks claim. " They will be back thats for sure, but I think we all won back when the wall came down in that now the tensions that developed the nuclear arms race and fear of communism as a viable sustainable ideaology are seen for what they reallt are. My god we wander...

How much underemployment is out there right now? Add that to the debatable "6.5%" claims... There is another cold war right now. It really never died. The Soviets won, just as they were the largest victor of WW2, no matter what our propaganda textbooks claim. Maybe the military-industrial complex can spawn a new wave of prosperity...just hope it is for those on this continent, and not for sweatshop workers elsewhere.

You are nearly there, as it is a Victor FD derivative - it's a Ventora (actually a Ventora II, but the only external difference is a badge on the back). This was a Victor FD but instead of the 2000 engine it had the 3300cc straight six as in the Cresta PC. Although that was a heavy engine it made it a respectable performer by contemporary standards. This one is late 1971.

I thought it looked a little Coke-bottle-ish for a Viva derivative. Is it some species of Victor then, perhaps an FD?
