Eaton53, Did you put in the "Grandview" Hollandia Model 524, with the super-sized glass,or the standard Model 700? How much did it cost? Are you happy with the functionality and wind noise? How about leakage? Did you lease, and if so, were you able to residualize it? Thanks.

I had to go look it up. It's this Sunday the 27th, 10 to 3 PM. It takes place at Chappell's Grandview Farm in Milford, NH. You can find directions on the Alfa Owners of New England site, or do a web search for High Hope Car Show. Jrosasmc, let me know if you're going, it would be nice to meet up and have a face to go with the name. Same for you, Andys120.

You're absolutely right - the Passat will beat the P5 in safety hands down. It's simply a bigger heavier vehicle with tons of airbags, but it's also much more expensive. Base price for a Passat wagon is around $23k (MSRP). The upcoming Mazda6 looks nice, and I may have to trade in my Outback wagon on one of the hatchback versions. However, they'll be hot once they hit the dealerships and probably won't go for anything below sticker for a while. Incidentally, I saw your name on the dry-erase board at Grinder's in Grandview a couple days ago.
