RE: 2007 Cadillac CTS bucking [diesel54] by mrvr2u on Fri Aug 12 09:54:55 PDT 2011

I have had this same issue in my 2006 cts (3.6). I took it to the Cadillac Dealership here in Waldorf, Maryland (Ken Dixon) and they could not duplicate the problem. I even had the "big man" of the Service Department drive the vehicle and he couldn't duplicate the issue, even though I was sitting in the passenger seat with him and could feel what was going on. Cadillac does not want to be held accountable for the poor products they are putting out. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau and GM got in contact with me and try to give me some "bennies" for my problems. I will continue to fight, because they depend on us (customer) for their livelihoods and we should make them be accountable.

...to my son Dave, who this afternoon just got hired as an optometrist! It's a pretty large practice with several locations in the DC 'burbs. He'll split his time working in their Waldorf, MD and California, MD offices. He graduates from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (just outside of Philly) in about 3 weeks, and will be starting this new job in July, after a vacation to West Coast. So, we'll have a "doctor" in the family! Can you say proud papa? Bob

Bought a 2011 Touring in Maryland by hubbleman on Sun Oct 24 05:14:57 PDT 2010

no trade in. no financing. $38089 before taxes, freight and doc fees ($100). Best deal I could find in Maryland. At Ken Dixon Honda in Waldorf. Someone here recommended them. I didn't like the idea of the drive (over an hour from where I live) but their price was worth it to me. It's their Internet price. The price is a few hundred under the USAA price. And they didn't slap any crappy options on like pin striping or wheel lug nut locks. Price goes up $300 if you go in to see a sales rep so do your test drive somewhere else to save $$. Other dealers were playing games with the USAA price ($39090 but I think that includes freight which is about $700). Ken Dixon's only games were trying to sell extended warranties and other add-ons like windshield protection. Since we didn't finance or trade-in, they might play those games too. This only applies to what they have in stock - which is accurately listed on their website. They had the same 5 Odysseys (only one touring) all week so if dealers are telling you these are selling like hotcakes, I would be suspicious. If you can wait, you might want to consider something like February next year to buy. I would bet their inventory will be pretty high. Or there might be a few used ones on the market by then. Good luck and thanks to all of those who shared their buying information. It helped me tremendously.

2011 Touring Odyssey for $710 over invoice by mllefkow on Tue Oct 05 20:35:23 PDT 2010

I purchased a 2011 Odyssey Touring today from Ken Dixon Honda in Waldorf, Maryland. I have never heard of the dealership and came accross them while sufing the net. Since I live about an hour away in Rockville, Md I went through their internet sales division. I was quoted a price of $37,613 - $710 over invoice. I had talked to a number of dealers in the DC area and none of them were willing to sell for below MSRP. One in fact quoted me a price above MSRP. I thought that there was going to be a catch but to my delight when I arrived this morning the quoted price was correct. In addition to an outstnading price I found the dealership great to work with. The internet sales person and the sales manager were top notch. I have never had a more pleasurable car buying experience. In addtion to Honda they sell Chevy and Cadillac. If I am ever in the market again for one of those brands Ken Dixon will be my first stop.
