GM Dealers - Catch Up by circlew on Sun Feb 05 06:44:46 PST 2012

LAS VEGAS - (AP) -- General Motors Co. said Saturday that most of its 4,400 U.S. dealers have agreed to upgrade their showrooms over the next four years. The upgrades include new signs, more modern interiors and lounges with free Wi-Fi. In some cases, dealers might also open cafes or salons. The company announced its plans at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas. GM said 3,400 dealers have agreed to upgrades, and 1,000 have been completed. GM said it also plans to give dealerships more sales and service training and encourage them to do more online marketing. If they meet all the upgraded standards, they'll receive quarterly payments, spokesman Tom Henderson said. Henderson said 36 percent of GM's stores were built before 1970. I won't comment on any comparison. :) Most Dealers to Upgrade Regards, OW

Re: 2011 Sienna LE AWD Quote [awd2011] by gene87 on Sat Nov 05 08:46:32 PDT 2011

I got an out the door quote for 31300 for the same vehicle at toyota of henderson in NC. It was from Sean- internet sales manager I believe. You probably don't want to travel all the way here, but if they ave you a quote in writing, you might be able to use it as leverage to get your price lowered.

The best midsizer to me... by iluvmysephia1 on Sat Oct 29 12:25:15 PDT 2011

is the Suzuki Kizashi. Suzuki made a comfortable sedan with a competent engine with an ample Warranty. Suzuki Kizashi I test drove one and the ride was very comfortable. The pushbutton start was new to me and all of the buttons for HVAC and stereo looked easy to manipulate, I don't know for sure because I didn't need to use them. The blinker and gearshift worked plainly and clearly well. The one I drove was an automatic CVT, I was ready to buy a 6-speed stick shift Kizashi in red but couldn't work out a deal with the Suzuki dealer in Henderson, NV. I may yet buy a Kizashi, the car took bumps and easily just flattened them out. I just love the look of the Kizashi, it looks like a VW Jetta or maybe more an older Passat on some serious steroids. I pushed it hard just once in to a curve and the Kizashi was ready to play, it held on a dime just like my '08 Lancer GTS. I am a fan and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Re: Michelin Primacy MXV4 [aghosh] by hihostevo on Tue Oct 18 14:35:40 PDT 2011

We specifically went for the Prius IV with the solar sunroof for that very reason. It works exceptionally well and while I would not claim that it keeps the interior "cool" it does ventilate the interior and keep it from getting any hotter than it is outside... rather than the 160+ degrees on the interior of a normal car parked in the sun during a las vegas summer day. We live in Henderson, NV a small community on the south side of Las Vegas.

I test drove a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi... by iluvmysephia1 on Sat Oct 15 20:01:37 PDT 2011

automatic tranny CVT in gunmetal grey and the car drove like a dream. I was really impressed with the car and may still buy one later. 2011 Suzuki Kizashi All controls were intuitive and easy to use. The car just flattened bumps like they weren't there. Perhaps that section of Henderson, NV, was pretty flat but I did try and look for bumps just to check and the car did wonderfully. Steering was precise without being "sticky" and prone to understeer wrought on with the resulting encumbent body throw. I loved the test drive and really didn't want to give the car back to them! Like I say, I may very well buy one of these one day. Great midsize...oh and by the way-this is a true midsize car-one does feel like they're getting in to a larger car than a compact. Suzuki should feel proud of theirselves with this car, it is truly the best midsize car. I would call the Ford Fusion a pretty close #2 and if one of those came along that was possessing a price/option package I liked it wouldn't take much to make me bite on one of those, carnuts.
