Re: 13.8 a gallon [blov8r]

Hi Bart: Thanks for your support. Just the other night, I drove from East Honolulu to Ewa beach on H1 (it starts from Kahala mall (east) , I did 60 MPG none stop to Ewa. It took me 45 minutes.(one way)(lucky night, not much traffic) So, I do think there is something wrong with my car. I did talk to an Infiniti service manager about this. He kind of gotten a bit defensive but willing to check the car out. I think I will bring my car to him soon. This 13.8MPG is worst than my previous MB600S. Again, Thanks. David

I couldve got a 05 nismo similar(but no Fosgate} for $2500 less but went for the 06 because #1-even though theyre virtualy the same truck blue book will be at least $1500-2000 higher on the 06 just because its a 06 #2-its always better to get the 2nd year of a new model(bugs worked out).#3-FOSGATE ROCKS !!!!!!!
MSRP vs Reality

I was able to get a 06 CC Nismo loaded at $1500 BELOW MSRP. I tried at Toyota and they laughed- best they could offer was a 05 Taco at $685 off MSRP-06 wouldve been MSRP+ and I wouldve been on a 200 deep waiting list!!

After 15+ hours of research and test driving all midsize trucks-Taco-Nismo finalists--Taco better interior;mileage;long bed option-Nismo better brakes;power;bed/liner/utilitrak;exterior;tires/rims;sounds(Fosgate);ground clearance;reg gas recommended;electric diff--I bought the Nismo!!!

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. We live in Hawaii, so we really never travel far enough to make lugging our Ps2 back and forth from the car worth it. The DVD player puts the kids in a good enough trance anyway. :-) Thanks! -Nick

Well, thanks for replying anyway. I did a bit more asking around, and apparently you have to bring your gaming unit and plug it in inside the car. That is kind of clunky, but maybe when I'm rich I'll buy a separate gaming box for the car and leave it there. :-)
