This is just a FYI...I know it's not new, but we just bought a 2010 Civic EX sedan with 33k miles for $15,800 yesterday in Buford, GA (metro Atlanta). Looking around at what's out there on used Civics, I am very happy with that price.
l had similar issues with an 02 T&C. The dealer had it for almost 3 months trying to figure it out. Don't let them replace the computer - 700 bucks and it wasn't the problem. They finally figured it out. Some sort of power module inside the engine compartment that relays lots of disparate systems. My receipt doesn't have the exact name of the parts, but I suggest you speak to David Todd at Chrysler Mall of Georgia (Buford, GA). Explain the problem and tell them to recall the T&C they had for several months. They'll remember - in fact my wife brought them Holiday snacks last week to thank them for their persistence and finally solving the problem. Remember - the villians in all of this are the designers at Chrysler, not the service guys! Good luck. Alan
Team Toyota Mall of Georgia in Buford includes a lifetime warranty with new Toyota purchases at no extra charge. It requires that one maintain the car per Toyota recommended maintenance schedule and that maintenance be documented. The same is true for the adjacent Hyundai Mall of Georgia dealership for new Hyundai purchases.
I just took delivery of essentially the same car, but with one additonal option, that being body side moldings. The selling price was $22,193. My price, out the door, including 7% GA sales tax was $24,314. I bought at Team Toyota Mall of Gerogia in Buford, GA. That price also included a $580 dealer fee. The dealer you talk about lost no money on the sale. They get money back from the manufacturer that is called a holdback.
My mom met Buford Pusser. :-) Let's see, isn't the German approach to cupholders for the US market to squeeze them in somewhere dumb, right where the coffee or lukewarm tea will splash into the pricey electronics and short 'em out. Isn't that an issue with some Audis and their MMI system? Oh yeah, the Q7. Even my laptop has a keyboard drain for when I spill my cuppa.
