One thing for sure; I won't get 20 incher again! Will probably drive the SHO this weekend, but probably won't buy before June/July timeframe next year. RRS

Re: Test Drove the LImited [ocramida]: by raymmer on Wed Nov 11 18:02:28 PST 2009; I test drove a limited this past weekend. I currently drive a 2008 300C with the hemi(Lease). I was very much impressed with the vehicle! It felt very solid and stable on the road and above else that's what I look for in a vehicle. I found the interior to be very spacious and nicely laid out. I was surprised at the engine as well! When I got on it, it got up and went! Overall, I was very impressed with the whole package. I have owned S-class and E-class Mercedes, Cadillac STS and given the prices of today, I would pay the price for a limited(of course, after the requisite haggling with the dealer) after my lease is up! I wii, however, drive the SHO before my decision is made. If it is something that I WANT, I have no qualms about paying for it! RRS

New Mustang Owner: by raymmer on Thu Sep 12 18:22:12 PDT 2002; I took delivery of an 03 Mustang GT 5M this past Sunday and I love it! Unlike most I am content to drive it as it is from the factory. It is an awesome ride! Can't wait to get it broken in!

former LS leasee who: by raymmer on Tue Feb 05 17:33:29 PST 2002; recently traded the car for a 2000 Mercedes S500 not a Ferrari as someone suggested! I am a charter member of LLSOC, that's how hyped I was over it(traded a 1999 M-B E320 on it) until first of all the dealer could not get trunk aligned properly(three trips for a brand new car!). Then I noticed that there was what I called a high pitched whine which I initially was told was air blowing across the exhaust! Later it was determined that it was the alternator whine and there was nothing they would/could due about it. As I said I leased it and after 1 year of listening to that whine in a 40,000 car I have had enough! I traded it on the Benz and it cost me something like 5000 as they don't hold any kind of value after 1 year but I feel it was worth it! I have been lurking here since before I got my car and I have learned that you folks are a touchy group of die-hard fans! There's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes you can be a little sensitive. I understand why people who are ending leases are changing to other brands: Lincoln, and its dealers are not standing behind these cars! Good luck with your cars in the future as I'm sure that I will have fun with mine! RRS
