Isn't it still on warranty? If so, take it to the dealer.

What did you offer? I dont know of any regional factors however, I think a price around my 470-480 plus tax is a sharp price. Many dealers with front load fees. Sign and drive should be first payment and your states min doc/tag fees. This applies to most states. One dealer insisited to me that every deal he does is a cap cost deal. Another argued with me (NISSAN) that he gets 3K down on every deal. Totally bonkers Rob

I only care about the total cost for me. Meaning sales tax aside the total payments and cost. I think others have printed money factor and sale price. I do not care about value of car at lease end. I lease because I dont care. I will post some of the numbers later from my contract. If I call 10 ten dealers and talk to some real characters and all tell me 518 a month or whatever plus costs and I get the same TL TECH for 476 I dont care about how they got to that number. I know some people look at these things too hard but in the end run knowing the money factors and residuals will help you with a dealer who is trying to tell you different numbers on these items. I try and work from the phone first. I am not sitting around car dealers while managers and salespeople converge. An informed shopper is not always welcomed. Rob

Where do you live? I feel you can do better. In south fla the honda guys are competitive. I was quoted for the same car 12k miles 315.00 with no cap reduction. Just approx 600 at closing for first month, tags etc. Usually 15K miles is about $20.00 extra per month or so. Are you sure you need 15K miles? If not and you go a little over on the 3 years Honda will probably not charge you. They have not charged me and my business partner for excess mileage ever. I think a good price would be about 335 plus tax. You have wiggle room. Thanks Rob

You need good credit for a lease. This has nothing to do with a downpayment or a cap cost reduction. When you get a lease quote you tell them you want sign and drive. You want to pay for first month and tags, not thousands of dollars. Oh sir we can lower your payments if you do a cap cost? What fools go for that? Example 400 a month lease or 300 a month with 3600 down. Which is better. Answer 400 a month. Forget current lease specials and national ads. Those rates either can be beat or have big cap costs. Often I can get sign and drive or lower on the same lease. Do your homework and read many posts here. I tend to think many lease buyers get fleeced. Also your payment on a loan even at the low interest rate is a larger payment by far. Use a loan calculator on this site. If you trade in cars every 3-4 years, leasing makes sense from 10-15K miles. 12,000 mile leases are standard. If you keep cars 5 yrs or more than a buy might work out better for you. Dont think too hard or try to come up with too many theories. For me I follow the bottom line leases mentioned here. Total costs. Use your local taxes though. Rob
