[rockshocka1]: by anthonyp on Sat Nov 14 14:54:32 PST 2009; Hi Phil Now that it has warmed back up---mid sixties for you that are not here--and it is not raining, I`m happy....A really cold day without wind is fine for the roast and it needs to be that way to keep the gnats away :) I`m going to take the direct flight to Miami on the 22nd and usher in the service, which I hope will be a huge success, then drive down after Christmas.....Three to four hour trip is plenty long enough for me----and eight to nine hours ---no matter what type of car--is miserable...I have found that I can leave here and drive to New Smer na Beach , which is past Daytona, and spend the night at Riverside which is a sort of old hotel (for Florida) which has an interesting ambience....and a good resturant with it..God it is miserable just to get to I95 from Chas. and that in itself is enough to make me just stop writing this :) Tony

2009 LS 460: by sleeper41 on Sun Sep 13 07:13:31 PDT 2009; Just picked up the car yesterday at noon. Bought it at Lexus of North Miami Beach, from a good guy I'd recommend highly, Harry Faitelson. I bought it for $350 below dealer invoice, which they showed me and it had all the info ((TDA 796 ?, Whsl Financial Reserve $636) on it, even the dealer Holdback amount ($1,273)! List was $69,090, paid $61,804.50 The deal I negotiated was for actual dealer invoice, when I reviewed the Buyer's Order, I noted the $699 Pre-Delivery Service Fee. I told them this was a deal breaker and to forget it. They told me it was cast in stone. I walked. The called back and said they would split it, hence the price. J. Ali

Re: Prices [2001gs430]: by anthonyp on Sun Aug 16 11:54:36 PDT 2009; Hi There are good deals all around---but for a second place remember to look around the Ft Lauderdale area also....The discount planes go and come there, so travel would be cheaper, and some of the smaller beach areas near there should be a bargain....This whole area is huge and remember there are just hundred of neighborhoods, so be extra careful to look in a desirable area so when the time comes to sell that you will be well positioned....Tony

Purchased a FWD CX-9 GT in FL: by carmama on Sun Aug 16 10:18:36 PDT 2009; I purchased a Blue/ Tan FWD CX-9 Grand Touring with the Moonroof, GT Assist Package, Towing Package, Roof Rails and Mud Flaps for $33,414 + TTL from Royal Palm Mazda in Royal Palm Beach on July 31st. Lehman Mazda in Miami quoted a price that was a few hundred dollars less, but they would have had to do a dealer trade for the vehicle we wanted and Miami is farther from where I live than Royal Palm Beach. Used PenFed for financing instead of Mazda's captive lender (Chase).
