Yes, I sat in it. It's exactly the same car from the B-pillar forward, and that includes the inside (except the tailgate control). So if you've sat in a 2008-09 CTS, you've sat in a 2010 CTS Sport Wagon. The console doesn't bother me because my knees are high enough up that it doesn't hit the same place that everyone else complains about (in fact, it doesn't hit anything since it's in the air). The downside if probably the same that you have meaning that the temp gauge is blocked by my knee. I thought this would be a bigger problem but in reality, I pretty much leave my SRX at the same temp all year round and let the car figure out how to get there. The only other issue would be activating the heated/cooled seats, which would require me to move my knee to access the control. For the 2010 SRX, engineers recognized that some of us were tall enough to have our knees block the control (or it was too low to see quickly) and have moved the control on that vehicle. Otherwise the driving position is comfortable enough for me to own one....FAR more comfortable than the Gen1 CTS I used to own. I rented another '09 CTS from the Avis lot at Newark Liberty airport just this past week. One last gripe...I was hoping that the CTS Wagon would have ditched the emergency foot brake and gone with the electric one that the CTS-V has (there's always been a control space on the center console for it). Alas, the CTS Sport Wagon still has a emergency foot brake which means all 2010 CTS's will likely be the same, save the CTS-V.
Buick vs. Lexus (GM Unknown Strategy)
by mcwilliams on Tue Sep 29 11:00:31 PDT 2009
Get with the program dude. . . . Yes I would by the Buick over the Lexus anyday. The ES looks like a washing machine and would probably drive like one if it had four wheels and and steering column. Yes GM has had its issues in the past but anyone who has any common sense about business is able to see what GM's new strategy is. Beef up Buick so Cadillac is able to start entering a market it could never compete with in the past. Ultra Luxury: Cadillac could never in a Million years compete with car like Maserati, Bugatti, or even Jaquar for that matter but to beef up Buick might create room for Cadillac to truly justify sellling a $80,000 convertible against the likes of companies like mercedes and porche. The idea is certainly a bit far fetched but so was the fact the GM would be a company of only 4 brands less than a few months ago. Kudos goes to Buick for redirecting their targets for success.

so far out of all the dealerships, ray catena has offered me the 2nd highest price for a G37X Coupe, specifically $1,291 above invoice. he also has a $249 documentation fee and reg/plate fee. bennett infiniti in allentown is the highest priced at $2k above invoice - no thank you. porter infiniti in newark, DE offered me $300 above invoice. not bad. im still waiting to hear back from five dealerships. i might have asked too early in the month so i might wait a week or two.
Comparing prices
by jason50 on Mon Aug 17 19:32:01 PDT 2009
You guys need to compare prices with dealers near your town or city as opposed to looking at what others paid in different parts of the country. It won't do much good to compare what someone paid in Newark vs someone paid in Houston. If you're gonna compare, ask someone in the forum who lives near where you live. Also, you might want to add if you had financed in addition to your OTD price. Just my 2cents.
