Sunbeam Harrington. With Japanese-market mirrors??? EDIT: Judging from the outsize script on the front fender, it's a Sunbeam Harrington Le Mans. More info at the Sunbeam Harrington club site.

I agree Shifty, MG did a much better job with the BGT, the tin-top version actually looks better than the roadster, something you can't say about the Harrington conversions.

I've seen both a dove and a Harrington. Neither one floats my boat but some people really like 'em. Neither one did as good a job as MG did with the MGB GT hatchback.

is that what they call a Dove GTR4 or something like that? Dang, I was hoping to slip that one by youse. Dove was a Triumph distributor who commissioned Harrington Coachworks to put a permanent top on the TR-4 roadster, 55 were made between 1961-65. It looks pretty awkward but there are few roadsters that could have benefitted more from a tin top than the TR-4/4A with it's flimsy ragtop and Flexible Flyer chassis. (I should know, I owned one). PS- Yes it's the same Harrington that fashioned the contemporary Sunbeam Alpine Harrington LeMans.

are you talking about Drew Brees? He was signed by San Diego and still plays there, right? What Brees are you talking about? I must know! Rocky, do you realize that Seattle just re-signed Shaun Alexander(quite possible the finest running back ever in the NFL. Remember, he is just getting started in his career. He is on a virtual tear scoring TD's and gaining yards right now. The only reason he doesn't rack up huge rushing yards is because Seattle's offense is so powerful in the passing department and they don't need Alexander to pile those yards up). Rocky, take me up on this. Go drive the new 2006 Kia Rio LX sedan or the 2006 Kia Rio5 hatchwagon. They are great cars and Kia still offers the wonderful Long-Haul Warranty. In my case I can pick and choose whatever car I want without family interference. I wouldn't listen to my family if they did disrespect my choice in cars, anyway. I'd politely tell them to jump in Lake Erie, right near that phony-baloney Rock and Roll Hall of Shame that won't induct Foghat into their R&R "Hall of Shame". What a buch of dorks they are. Think about this one: they inducted The Turtles, an American pajama-bottom band, and overlooked the greatest rock band ever, Britain's Foghat. And you can't e-mail them to complain because you'd interrupt their latte's and donuts and high-life there in Cleveland. Tee-hee. :D Rocky, I truly want to see Detroit rise up in the NFL. Joey Harrington may or may not be their dude to help them get there, though.

I had the same issue with a 2002 silverado that was showing a reduction in MPG and we replaced the 100K plugs that lasted for 65K and added STP fuel injector cleaner and it came back up to where it was supposed to be.I would also check the O2 sensors just to make sure they are ok. Later, 05Z71
