Brake lights: by richn2 on Tue Dec 25 13:51:29 PST 2007; 1999 A4 Quarttro, the brake lights have been replaced 5 times to-date, The last time was the first week of December. Yesterday (12/12/07) the right brake light went out. Before I return it to the shop to yet again have another light installed does anybody have any suggestions. Thanks

"front" lights parts: by richn2 on Sun Nov 18 14:50:39 PST 2007; Daughters front right side "parking" lights assembly and socket was stolen. Brought an after market front headlight assembly but it did not come with the 'socket". Trying to find out a part name / number for the socket so I can try to order one online but I am unable to locate any information on this part. Tried locating info on the net, even paid to join on-line manuals but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

A/c in auto climate: by merv692 on Fri Apr 07 17:35:04 PDT 2006; I have the 2006 Freestyle Limited AWD. With the auto climate system the a/c light will light above the external temp. This happens when it is cold out as well. If I hit the a/c button it will go out. Why is this on if it is cold outside? What function does it serve when it is on if ac is not needed? Thanks, Don.

DVD + R: by merv692 on Wed Jan 11 13:14:27 PST 2006; Hello I have a 06 Freestyle Limited with the Rear DVD player. My question is, will the player play DVD + R dvd's. The reason is I record these with my dvd recorder in my house, put them in the car and the screen says bad disc error. I have tried multiple disc, and the disc play on my dvd player in the house. I have read the book and the book says it will play DVD'rs. I know there is a difference between DVD + and DVD -. Just wondering if anyone has this problem or should the dvd's work in this unit. And yes this is the factory unit. Thanks.
