I bet the fine print is something like "after your $4,000 down payment". As if your cash or trade doesn't come out of your pocket too! That would be my guess too. But that would put me off as soon as the words come out of his mouth...I would hang up at that point.

I saw an ad on the TV that said a Tampa Ford dealer has new 2012 Fusion S models for $14,999. They also have new 2012 F-150 trucks (picture shown 4 door). for $19,900 I checked on the website and it gives those prices but in tiny print it says "see dealer for details". I am just curious enough to call the dealer and ask him what the scam is.
