what if I don't have tranny problems
by tlars on Thu Nov 12 08:14:15 PST 2009
I joined ths forum after I purchased my Pac Ltd in March. I purchased it used from a Chrysler-Dodge Dealer for what I thought was a very fair price. Now I'm reading all of these problems and very concerned with future repair costs/issues. Would this suit get Chrysler to buy back the vehicles regardless or have a long list of issues? It may seem like a dumb question, but if the issues are there, they will happen sooner or later right? Thanks.
Re: Bad Motor Mounts [rhollis]

rhollis - any chance that you have service bulletins, codes, etc to pass on to the rest of us? My factory warranty expires April 2010. I'm trying to nip as much as I can prior to. I want to go in there and say "Look this, this and this up and make the corrections on my vehicle."
Motor mounts

Do any of you have the service bulletins on getting the motor mounts replaced? My wife loves this 07 Touring and we only have 24,000 miles. I cringe every time I get a new posting, but I want to know what to expect as well. My factory warranty is up in 4/2010. What other things should I be asking the dealer about? PS - anyone have issues with a vibrating window/windshield molding on the upper driver's side? Thanks!
dealers fail ro respond

One thing I've noticed in my initial dealings with dealers this time is that several absolutely refuse to respond to email. This time around I decided to email all the dealers within 100 miles of 85023 and ask for their best out the door price on a new 09 SF SE 2WD. Depending on their website I either used the web contact form, the internet department's email address or direct email addresses if given. One was contacted through Costco's web car buying service. My hope was that this would reduce confusion and give me a printed record of what was promised. Of the 10 I contacted, San Tan in Gilbert and Tim's in Prescott haven't responded at all to repeated emails. Tempe, the Costco dealer, called and left a message but hasn't responded to my emails. And I thought dealers were hurting. The rest have been painful. All have required a series of back and forth emails due to quoting the wrong vehicle, forgetting to make it an out the door price, disagreements about SE standard equipment or having to re-answer questions that were answered in my original request. One guy's emails read like a series of text messages- sentences run together, no capitalization, mis-spellings, etc. Another called and left a message that included a comment that I would also get an email because "that was my preferred method of contact". So then why did he fracking call?
Re: Best deals on max care warranties? [jtg61]

Even though I've been out since 1992, they will give me this discount? Are you saying they GIVE you a 3 year warranty or offer a $500 credit towards the costs of the warranty? Or was this applied toward the purchase of your new car?

Has anyone looked into the US Fidelis warranties? My instinct tells me to stick with a Chrysler warranty and to purchase it from the local dealer who will be servicing the PAC. They seem pretty reasonable and can offer 12 month no interest. I gave them the price of the Golick PA warranty and he thought he could match it. Golick didn't offer any payment plan though. Another thing, I have my PAC going in Friday for a check up on the TC and other issues I'm reading about. Would you believe they don't have loaner cars for warranty issues? I was pretty shocked. Is this normal or should I look into going to another dealer? :(
