Re: New purchase! [kevinc5]

Just wanted to add that I'm from San Diego but ended up buying a 2009 G37 sedan from Infiniti of Montclair in LA. Saved at least ~1700 dollars in the process(check my previous posts). Hope this helps. No other dealer (Glendale, Cerritos, Miller) came close. Miller had some good specials on a coupe.
Dash replacement
by medic481 on Sat Nov 14 17:07:18 PST 2009
I posted here earlier ( #847) about a defective dashboard. Just got the car back from Glendale Hyundai (CA)- They did a great job replacing the top section of the dash, and also a defective idler pulley that was making a growling or whining noise. I have to say I am happy with the work and they did not balk whatsoever at doing the warranty work. Only problem was that the mechanic failed to properly tighten the negative battery clamp after reattaching it. Amazingly the car started and ran fine all the way home. I found the problem this morning when I tried to start the engine and suddenly lost all power. Strangely, I couldn't tighten the clamp enough to make it tight. I had to go to several auto parts stores to locate a shim for the battery post. Once I added the shim the clamp was then snug enough to secure. All in all, a fairly painless repair experience.
Re: '07 Rav4 side airbags blew up in my face with NO impact to car! [jondubus]
by madrav4owner on Tue Nov 10 08:14:55 PST 2009
My side airbags exploded for absolutely no reason. I thought I had been shot the sound was so loud. I was driving about 20 mph on a surface street in my town, Glendale, CA. Had I been on one of our crazy freeways I think I may have been killed. Have sent a very detailed letter to the president of Toyota in Japan. Return receipt was received and again I was pushed off to another representative in Torrance, CA who did nothing but say the car has been repaired. My Rav 4 is still at the dealership (since Sept. 30th) and I refuse to ever drive it again. Has anyone made any progress with legal representation? I need some suggestions as I am out transportation and spending a lot on rental cars.
Re: Los Angeles 2010 ES350+nav+options = $39,200 OTD [graffixx]
by moorecpa on Sun Nov 08 19:25:03 PST 2009
I live in AZ and have been looking at 2010 ES350 - no deals even close to that over here. Glendale, CA is so close - I easily could drive over to pick up a car and be way ahead of the game if that deal is available to others. Can you share the name of the salesman?

My deal was at Glendale Infiniti, but I was close on deals at Cerritos and Miller (van nuys). I believe we're not supposed to post the names of people we worked with on here, so feel free to e-mail me and I'll give you my contact in Glendale. If you've done your homework, there's no reason you shouldn't walk with a good deal.
