Just don't put it in reverse and kick it like Cameron so it goes through the back of your garage. Well you definitely can't reduce mileage that way, but if you lift the drive wheels it should work. Granted, you'd get an ABS malfunction light and you'd have to deactivate the traction control. On some of the older cars with first gen traction control it probably wouldn't work as you couldn't turn off the T/C on some cars.

I'm out of warranty so they won't pick up the bill, but my service manager just told me it's a $70 repair (per axle) to fix the corrosion. That sounds fair to me!!!!!

The point is not to save the planet but to be seen trying. I saw a Prius in California the other day with the registration plate �Hug Life� and that�s what the car does. It says to other road users, �Hey. I�ve spent a lot of money on this flimsy p.o.s. and I�m chewing a lot of fuel too. But I�m making a green statement.� Think of it, then, as a big metal beard, a pair of open-toed sandals with wheels, David Cameron with windscreen wipers. So his complaints hold no water because he is obviously anti-hybrid. OH - I forgot....... Good job on actually finding a negative hybrid review. Those are few and far between.

Diff or bearing: by c_farooq on Thu May 07 14:25:02 PDT 2009; Hi. I am looking for some advice. I have a 2000 yr Gran cherokee, and for the last 3 months i have been hearing a humming noise. This has gradually got louder. As you turn left it stops, but when you go right it gets worse. I preseumed it was a diff. Someone said it might be the diff? what is easier? can the rear axle just be replaced or would i have to get a new diff? thanks cameron

Brake and Reverse Lights not working: by edwardsfamily on Wed Dec 10 13:46:35 PST 2008; I have a 1998 SL2 and the brake and reverse lights do not work on the two back lights. The turn signals and lights work, just not reverse and the brake lights. All lights work on the third light in the rear window. Has anybody had this problem? Does anybody have any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks
