I won't condemn Toyota for jumping into the game. Also, let's go back a few years and compare Toyota to a company like Government Motors: Toyota SUV's (Truck based or car based, V8 offered) Land Cruiser LX470 GX470 Sequoia Tundra 4Runner GM: HUMMER H2 Tahoe Suburban Yukon/ Yukon XL Trailblazer/ Trailblazer EXT Envoy/ Envoy XL Isuzu Ascender/Escender XL Buick Rainier Sierra Silverado Silverado HD lineup Sierra HD lineup Kodiak Escalade/ Escalade ESV/ Escalade EXT Avalanche SRX There is also a V8 HUMMER H3, Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup. Shoot, this doesn't even include the V8's that went into all the GM cars! You don't really believe that Toyota sells the Prius because they want to be green do you? Actually, yes. The Green movement goes far beyond the Automakers and I believe in the old adage "Build it and they will come" so I won't fault Toyota for finding success with a few hundred thousand Prius takers over the years :D

[captu]: by aliret1 on Wed Mar 25 16:47:25 PDT 2009; I just bought a 2008 with 26k and I got about 9.5 MPG towing a 20' trailer with a john deer tractor, and a yahaha kodiak in the back of the truck. I think I am getting about 15 MPG light truck. Were you able to do something to help with your fuel mileage? Have you looked into those performance chips?

Sale of Medium duty business?: by 62vetteefp on Tue Feb 03 06:35:46 PST 2009; From 1/29/09 press release GM Statement Regarding the Status of GM's Medium-Duty Business As GM announced in August, it is continuing to operate the medium duty business as it has in the past, including providing sales, service and marketing support to GM dealers for its medium duty trucks. While GM is assessing various strategic options for the business, no decisions have been reached and there are no details to share at this time. About 525 hourly and salaried workers are employed on the medium-duty truck line in Flint, which produced 22,000 vehicles last year, GM spokesman Tony Sapienza said. Trucks produced at the plant include the GMC TopKick and Chevrolet Kodiak. Isuzu may buy?
