First off, I recognise that this question may not be the most accurate as Lexus RX330 and Cayenne are clearly not in the same category; but would appreciate thoughts and facts based on your real time Cayenne ownership experience. As most of us would agree, Porsche is all about the Brand. And if not all, most of you have bought a Porsche as, by default, it commands a second look and ... Read More
Hello folks, I just bought a 2008 cayenne V6 that still has some warranty left.... so I guess I can get the message rest by the dealer. Though I am wondering why will you not get the vehicle serviced rather than resetting the message. thanks, Sammy
I had a 2008 Cayenne S that did something similar to that...I had an audio CD burned from my iTunes library...it would play fine when I left in the morning...in the afternoon (when it was warmer/hotter) it would randomly lose track of the audio at certain tracks...I figured it was b/c it was a burned disc...the few actual CDs I have seemed to work OK in it.
hey all,...just had to respond to this forum,...my wife has a 2008 cayenne turbo,...yes,...that's right, A TURBO!,...she is a bonifide wild women when it comes to speed,...and wanted the world's fastest suv,...me,...i thought this car was such a ridiculous misstep for porsche when they announced this car,...but, have to say,...she loves the dang thang,...and, having driven it myself,...it's not bad,...very lux and fast,...but still feels awlfully heavy,...we also have a 2008 ... Sam, I bought the enthusiast version with USB interface adapter and cable for Porsche993, Boxter, 996, 987, 997, Cayman and Cayenne. Total delivered cost $292.52 I have used it twice to clear the service now. It worked just as outlined in the Durametric manual. http://www.durametric.com/buyus.aspx My Cayenne has the 3.6L V6 and is a model year 2008 (invoice date was Feb 26, 2007)

Hi All, I'm in the market for a new SUV. Last car Lexus GX 470. Lexus dealership was courteous, always had a Lexus loaner. However, anything covered under warranty was always met with the same response, "oh that clunk sound is normal, or we don't detect any brake grind noise". With my older Lexus, which was out of warranty I'd get, "Oh yeah, I hear that mouse-like noise. That'll be $1500 ... Read More

If you want Bluetooth or like listening to your iPod without the FM radio hissing sound, I would consider purchasing or leasing a 2009 Porsche Cayenne instead of the 2008 model. The PCM in the 2009 is supposed to have the iPod and bluetooth direct hookups (clean digital sound) while 2008 models can only have aftermarkets installed. 2008 Cayennes don't even have an option to have an OEM device and have ... About to pull trigger on 08 v6 cayenne Dealer says 61%resid for 36m/10k and 6.5% (mf=0.00275) I have one question: Window sticker msrp says 59,835 (selling price 53500 ; 1500 over invoice)- but dealer using lower figure (56,000) for the MSRP on the lease calculator, which increases monthly pymnts- he says porsche does this and does not sepreciate the options - is this right?
On our cayenne S 2008 we have driven 7500 miles and have added 6 quarts of oil. We are told by Porsche Customer Service that this is normal. However, we have had several porsches and this cayenne is our 2nd cayenne. We have never added a drop of oil to any of our cars, other than normal oil changes.

Help. I'm about to pull the trigger on a lease. What would be a fair residual, MF for a 36 month? Is Porsche credit only available to top tier credit score? Additionally the dealer is claming the residual is non negotiable at 53% for 36 months GTS. which sounds awfully low compared to the % I've seen on this forum The MF quoted was appears a bit high at .0030.
I am sure there should be. cause porsche the 2006 and bought the 2008 in the beginning of 2007 discounts dont know but they should give you a discount because the newer model is already here

Porsche dealers can vary greatly with respect to their pricing / discounts. When I bought my 911 Cab S in September 2005, all 4 dealers in the DC area offered almost no discounts. The 2006 Cayenne Turbo S has better exterior styling vs 2008 Cayenne Turbo in my opinion. I really drilled down both models before deciding to by the Turbo S. Porsche did not produce 2007 model and i think they did not improve the look over the 2006. That said there nothing like the ride, power and luxury.....Very limited production of 2006.
I'm in the SF bay area and I'm the original who posted having 10% off MSRP. Try Steven Creek Porsche internet department. They make better deal than walk in.
Welcome desibaba00. As usual, Porsche is not currently providing any lease support on the Cayenne. hi there, i think the opposite, that the porsche looks way more cool and modern than the x5, thats why I want to get rid of my 2007 x5 for a 2008 cayenne (maybe we should just trade..)! I kinda like the x5 interior better, but I think it still looks pretty cool.
Hi sprng73. I see that you are considering making a $3,000 capitalized cost reduction on the Cayenne that you are interested in leasing. I always advise consumers against making large down payments on leased vehicles. Those who make them risk losing part or even all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered. You would be better off going with a zero down lease. ... Read More

Hi scpete. I've heard that the 2008 Cayenne is amazing. It handles much better than the 2006 model and the V6 engine, which was previously a little underpowered, is much more powerful. If you were to lease this truck through Porsche Credit right now for 36 months, you would have to use its standard lease ... Read More

Hi Carman, Stumbled on your forum while researching on Automobile leasing. I haven't done car leasing and I am thinking of leasing the new 2008 Cayenne and just wondering what's a good deal out there for this model on a 13K miles on a 4yr lease. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks,
Can't help you with the leasing aspect, but here's the scoop on the new model release: - True, there will be no 2007 model. - A facelifted Cayenne will come out around Feb-March 2007 as a 2008 model. Some horsepower increase is expected. - To fill the gap between now and next year, Porsche is issueing a special "Titanium Edition" model. These are still 2006 cars, but come with special Titanium ... Read More

Hi revets2. Wow, you won't see too many 2005 Porsches out there that are still classified as new vehicles. Porsche Credit doesn't publish a lease program for "new" 2005 models any longer. Holy crap. Porsche has done the impossible: it actually made the Subaru B9 Tribeca look good in comparison.
I am not much of an artist or stylish person but I like the rounded lines all throughout my '04 Cayenne S in basic black looks very Porsche and has the "Porsche DNA". I just spoke with my Porsche sales guy yesterday, and he said there are no current plans that he knows of for any redesign of the Cayenne bodystyle for 2007.
