Article Comments: 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S Follow-up Test

Re: Article Comments: 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S Follow-up Test [KarenS]

I believe the followng part of the article is inaccurate: "Just turning the ventilation system off requires toggling both driver and passenger fan controls down until the fan speed is zero — an infuriatingly complex task which should be accomplished with one control." In mine, just toggling one switch accomplishes the function. It is not necessary to toggle ... Read More...

We will be buying our 2006 Cayenne S in San Diego on Thursday afternoon. I don't think both Porsche dealers in San Diego do not have 2005 models left. We will let you know what sort of deals we get. One dealer has couple S with 500 miles with pretty good price on them. Welcome to San Diego. Read More...

Re: Porsche Cayenne Turbo S Leasing [kyfdx]

Hi Kyfdx, I'm caught in a discussion with my self about whether to put down $60,000 in 24 months with a lease or finance a $90000 vehicle and risk not being able to sell it. That's my dilemma. Yes, the 36 month lease is definitely cheaper by the month and yet much dearer at the end of 36 months ($60,000 v. $72000). I was really looking for someone to help me put some numbers ... Re: Cayenne Lease Incentives? [ahignite]

Hi ahignite. I do not believe that Porsche is currently providing any sort of incentives on the 2006 Cayenne, lease or cash. The best way to get a good deal on this vehicle is to negotiate as low a selling price as possible and then make sure the dealer that you are working with is using Porsche Credit's "buy rate" lease money factor to calculate its monthly payment. ... Cayenne Lease Incentives?

Car_Man, Do you know of any Porsche Cayenne lease incentives? I am looking for a 2006 manual transmission base Cayenne. I noticed an earlier post who just leased the same with $2,000 down and $498/month. How do I get a deal like that? Read More...

Re: Cayenne 2006 Lease [rick47]

Hi rick47. I am not personally all that familiar with how much of a discount Porsche dealers are giving most customers on the Cayenne right now. You may be able to get an idea of how much you should pay for one by visiting the following discussion: "Porsche Cayenne: Prices Paid & Buying Experiences". Once you have an idea of what this truck's selling price should ... Read More...

Re: November Rates [mrresearch]

I sure do, mrresearch. Porsche Credit's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a base 2006 Porsche Cayenne with 15,000 miles per year are .00310 and 57%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease of this truck are .00310 and 54%. If you were to lease it with only 12,000 miles per year, its residual ... Read More...

Porsche Cayenne Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Looking for Honest Review of Cayenne

I have taken a test drive of the V6 Cayenne at the dealer, and impressed with the look and the feel of it. I asked the dealer about the reliability of it, and they showed me that Edmumnds rated Porsche #1 overall in the latest ratings. My assumption is that this is for the other part of the Porsche line, and not the Cayenne. My concern is the reliability and cost to maintain ... Read More...
