Dear Car_man, My local Houston dealer is quoting me a Porsche Finance lease payment of $1,040 per month on a 3yr 15K miles/yr. The lease payment includes Texas sales tax at 6.25%, $500 dealer services fees, $850 acquisition fees. Residual value of 54%. The money factor used is apparently 0.0028. Does this sound right to you? The Cayenne is the only one available for modification and delivery in early May 2012 ... Read More

Porsche dealers can vary greatly with respect to their pricing / discounts. When I bought my 911 Cab S in September 2005, all 4 dealers in the DC area offered almost no discounts. It was the new 997 model and even though we were heading into the fall, the Cab version had only been out for 5-6 months. I finally got a PA dealer to agree to a $5k discount on ... Read More
The 2006 Cayenne Turbo S has better exterior styling vs 2008 Cayenne Turbo in my opinion. I really drilled down both models before deciding to by the Turbo S. Porsche did not produce 2007 model and i think they did not improve the look over the 2006. That said there nothing like the ride, power and luxury.....Very limited production of 2006.
Cayenne Turbo S. u really dint consider the new turbo? but anyway great car .
Just purchased this Porsche Cayenne Turbos S. It is a fantastic sport SUV. I have 2 issues...CD Player skips and emergency brake sticks. Does anyone know any other issues with the Turbo S ? Also want to install ipod & bluetooth....any suggestions ?? Tnx-u
Hi einbayer. Unfortunately, I do not believe that Porsche Credit is offering leases on 2006 models any longer. If this is indeed the case, you would have to go through an independent bank to lease an '06 Cayenne. Car_man Host Prices Paid Forum
Hi 5speed5. Earlier this year, Porsche provided its dealers with $4,000 dealer cash for every leftover 2006 Cayenne S that they had in inventory. That's why you are able to get this truck for $4,000 under invoice. If the dealer that you are working with is getting desperate to unload its remaining 2006 model or models you may be able to shave a little more off of this price, but it's ... Read More
I purchsed my used 04 Cayenne S in December. I am in the DC metro area, and we had maybe 3-4 snow storms. I think the most snow we had at one point was around 4-6 inches or so. Hi scpete. I've heard that the 2008 Cayenne is amazing. It handles much better than the 2006 model and the V6 engine, which was previously a little underpowered, is much more powerful. You're right, Porsche never provides lease support on its vehicles and it rarely provides dealer cash. If you were to lease this truck through Porsche Credit right now for 36 months, you would have to use its standard lease ... Read More

Hi imok. This truck's lease program varies by term and mileage allowance. For now I will assume that you're interested in a 36 month lease with 10,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. Porsche Credit's current 36 month buy rate lease money factor and residual value for the 2006 Porsche Cayenne V6 with 10,000 miles per year are .00310 and 57%, respectively. The last time that ... Can't help you with the leasing aspect, but here's the scoop on the new model release: - True, there will be no 2007 model. - A facelifted Cayenne will come out around Feb-March 2007 as a 2008 model. Some horsepower increase is expected. - To fill the gap between now and next year, Porsche is issueing a special "Titanium Edition" model. These are still 2006 cars, but come with special Titanium ... Read More
Here you go, Mike. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00310 and 55%. Car_man Host Prices Paid Forum
Hi revets2. Wow, you won't see too many 2005 Porsches out there that are still classified as new vehicles. Porsche Credit doesn't publish a lease program for "new" 2005 models any longer. Perhaps it has some sort of special program that it uses for this sort of situation. If it does, I haven't seen it. You definitely should treat this car as a used vehicle when trying to come up with ... Read More

Hi stanford06. If you were to lease a base 2006 Porsche Cayenne (not the S or Turbo models) through Porsche Credit right now for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00290 and 58%, respectively. I believe the followng part of the article is inaccurate: "Just turning the ventilation system off requires toggling both driver and passenger fan controls down until the fan speed is zero — an infuriatingly complex task which should be accomplished with one control." In mine, just toggling one switch accomplishes the function. It is not necessary to toggle both switches.

No problem, rrfan1. Let me begin by saying that I always advise consumers against making any sort of down payment when leasing. I do so for two main reasons. Hi dandrews1. One cannot calculate what their vehicle's money factor should be. It is published by banks. It is used to calculate the interest portion of your lease payment.
