  Regarding your questions #1 & #6, my 2006 911 is GT silver with black interior. I saw a silver with tan interior when I bought mine a couple of months ago. The're out there, but black on black has been very popular for awhile. I don't know why. I believe PSM is standard on all 911's. Don't know if it was available on pre 997's.   Thank you. By the way, who is Danika Patrick? The rear 295/30/19 is a Michlin Pilot Sport put on by the Porsche dealer. After reading that thread you're in called Porsche 911 wheels and Tires, it sounds like the Michilen Pilots are far superior to the Pirelli's, or at least better.   I think a Porsche 993 (last of the air-cooled cars) from 1993 to 1997 (or early 1998), non-turbo, no AWD, no tiptronic, would be ideal. These are rugged dependable cars. Stay away from 90-92 C2s. Of course, you will have to shop for the cleanest, lowest mileage car you can find, with excellent service records. Any car you find that is a "mystery" as to who owned it, how it was ... Read More

  xkss… I agree that Cayman could be the seed of this possibility. The market is demanding increases in power. For the 911 this would seem to require bringing the engine forward.
