• Air conditioner smell

  Hello, I am a ftp. I was wondering about a old rag smell coming from the vents when I run the AC. The smell goes away after the AC runs for awhile, I have checked the internet and not having much luck so if any 1 has had a smiular problem I would be very greatful if anyone can help, Thx The Maceman 2008 Pontiac torrent, 70000 KM.

  fixwingman, If you want to find out if they will cover the problem under warranty you need to go through GM. I'm not convinced the "reps" here are legitimate GM employees anyway. I would contact Pontiac via their website, and take the car to a GM dealer. Based on my experience, they are saying if you did not get the service bulletin mailed to you then your VIN is not covered ... Read More

  I'm having the same problems, thought it was bad gas, put in fuel injector cleaner, took it back to the dealership where i bought the 2008 Pontiac torrent. Their mechanic diagnos to start with the ignition coil, which is expensive, i have no extended warranty.
