I purchased a 2007 Pontiac Torrent on September 9th, 2007, 8 days later all the lights came on saying it needed service(stabilization/traction control/anti-lock brakes/all-wheel drive(suppose to be on-demand), i took it to the dealer and they ran a test and said the speed sensor was bad, they had to order the part, so I had to make another trip, for repairs. ... I am new to this forum and I am thinking about purchasing a brand new 2007 fully loaded torrent. While I was at the dealer, I notices that the trany was from Japan, but the engine was from China. I have some difficutly paying for a Pontiac when the engine was being built in China - not even Japan or Korea. Any commnets out there???? Read More...

The sticker is rated at 19 city, 26 highway, but I have never seen over 21mpg and rarely get 19mpg.. I had to drive about 65 mph only highway driving very carefully pressing on the gas to get that 21mpg. Only was able to pull it off once.
