Taken as a "sporty" car the Solstice and up-level GXP provides ample fun. As a true sports car, however, the Solstice simply is not as sophisticated, communicative, or as refined as its competitors. Car savvy shoppers will expect more.
Ride comfort, wind noise, and road noise are all remarkably good for a two-seat convertible. This is enhanced by the available hardtop variant. Entry/exit are also good, but the driving position is far from optimal.
From the way the soft top operates to the interior ergonomics, the Solstice GXP is a functional disasater. Even the hardtop variety of Solstice offers unique ergonomic challenges. Many customer complaints are possible.
Excellent exterior design with questionable build-quality. Again, this is an admirable effort, but even once-ridiculed Korean cars are as good or better.
