Re: Engine fires 3800 series II 1996-2003 [grngtp]

Half way there, I smelled something burning. Got to a stop sign, and smoke was pouring from the front of the car. No engine lights. Nothing. I pulled the car over, turned it off, and got out to inspect ... Read More...

Re: over heating [toryb]
hi, i have a 1996 pontiac grand prix, and i had an overheating problem so i traced it to the blown lower intake gasket. it is pretty hard to spot because the leaking usually ends up behind the generator and the power steering pump. it can be up to 1000 dollars to fix at a shop and up to 400 if you do it yourself. hope this helped. Been through 3 levels of their management so far with no luck....... Read More...

Re: 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix AC problems [n8ten97]

Take the battery out, and look for a fairly thin, hard plastic line. Should run by the battery and down to a ball-shaped tank under the driver's side front end of the car. Follow along it's complete path up through the ... Read More...
