04 GP for $6500
My sister's father-in-law has an '04 Grand Prix that has been his company car. He's offering to sell it to my sis for $6500 which is what his company wants for it. She's a radical sports car fan (would rather buy a rebuilt '92 Stealth to replace her '92 Mitsu 3000GT twin turbo, but hey, that's my sis!) Anyway, she thought I would like it, and I do! (BTW, if anyone wants ... Read More...

1992 Pontiac Grand Prix
. The car is a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix, loaded with options, including power windows, heads-up display and the radio controls on the steering wheel. The car was originally my brother-in-laws. He purchased it from a friend at the chevy plant where he worked. It was originally a friends wifes car and she passed away. So the vehicle was never hot-rodded and is low ... Read More...

Re: 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix Rough idle [headach]
Hi, I also have a 1990 pontiac grand prix. I think your problem is with the idle learn control. Any time the battery is disconnected for a period of time the computer(ecm) loses its idle learn memory and defaults to preset value. It will now have to be re programmed with the correct values. This can be done at your GM dealer for the cost of around $80.00 , depending where ... Read More...
Gran Prix brakes
I have a 1992 Grand Prix with 4 wheel disk brakes I purchased new. It has the SE & LE package + a special package that gave it different suspension (lowered), body trim, wide 150 mph tires, special engine & drive train components. The brakes have been bad since I purchased the vehicle. I noticed this after taking delivery and returned to the Pontiac service with my ... Read More...

Re: '06 GT Constant Speaker Hissing [mels1229]
I have a 2006 Grand Prix GXP and have the hissing/humming sound. I have the Monsoon Speaker System also, OnStar and XM. Your dealer is an idiot! GM is aware of this problem and say that there is no remedy for this at this time. It is harmless so they won't repair it. Now, with my 2002 GTP I had the Bose System and OnStar -- no hissing. I think that the Monsoon System is not ... Read More...
Re: 1992 Grand Prix Pontiac Cutting Out , Stalling, and Dying Problem [ken7308]
I had the same exact problems with my 95 GTP. Stalling, no starts, poor idle, cutting out right in the middle of traffic. I replaced O2 sensor, idle control valve, change spark plug wires, you name it. NO results, except less money in my bank. Finally, I figured out the problem. I removed the EGR valve assembly on the top and scraped the inside with a screwdriver to ... Read More...

1992 Grand Prix Pontiac Cutting Out , Stalling, and Dying Problem
I own a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix with 92,000 miles. Car had been running great until recently. These are the symptoms: Fuel gauge indicator remains lit in spite of the tank being full. Didn't think it was a big deal. The car ran OK. Drove the car for more than 20 miles, ran fine and it cut off in traffic. The car started immediately. Drove the car again on a long trip on ...
