    Has anybody come across a modification site for the Grand Prix GXP. I would like to add some more performance parts. I have already added flowmasters & a K&N intake system. I found a ECM unit that adds 20HP which I will be getting. Anybody else looking to push the HP on your GXP??

    Some confusing info here: http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/11786/2006-holden-commodore-ve.html Nothing mentioned at all concerning the next Pontiac Grand Prix, which is a little disconcerting - I'm putting off buying a car until the Holden comes over here. Mostly it mentions possible Chevy cars coming from it. It also mentions possible price points.

    On March 23, 2006 my 2001 Pontiac Grand prix caught fire and burned. It was somewhere under the hood, could have been the engine compartment. GM sent a so-called "expert" to check it out and supposedly he couldn't determine the cause of the fire.

    thanks for the info I'll ck it out. My gxp is black with the leather/suede combo, DVD Nav ,sunroof, Monsoon speaker system etc... I get a lot of compliments the 18 chrome wheels really make it stand out

    Try and get the magazine "Chevy HiPerformance" over the last 8 - 9 months? They did a buildup on a 5.3, in a truck though. They did rocker arms, cold air, reprogram, and got another 40? horses, and 60? ft/# of torque. They did more, and got more, I just can't rememeber the details. It had a step-by-step buildup though.

    Here's some thought on the dealer backing the tires, since they sold them theory. I went through a month-long battle over Michelin tires; that were defective when new on my Infiniti. The dealership said, "You have to take it up with Michelin". Sure enough, the owner's manual says the mf'r is responsible for the tires.
