I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE. The only thing that's happened to it is the antifreeze has all leaked out from a small metal oval opening covered up by a metal covering near the middle of the car under the floorboards. The opening is no where near the radiator.Hanes manuals state the dex-cool antifreeze orange in color also cools the transmission. How do I repair the leak?
I broke the accelerate cable while removing coolant sensor. I have a replacement part from local GM dealership around 24 bucks. Does anyone know how to replace it? Appreciate any help.

Hello, Anyone out there??? I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand AM And the heater core is leaking. When I put water in it It's just pores out, Plus when I start driving it the windows start too fog up. Looks like steam is coming in through my vents. Can I bypass this problem long enough to drive the car or what?? Any suggestions would be helpfull.. Thanks. Jim J.
I've got a 1996, 4 cyl. grand am that will not start. I've replaced the battery and starter already and it's still doing the same thing. Basically it won't turn over fast enough to get the car started. It wears down a fully charged battery in one start, and the wires/starter get warm/hot to the touch as well.
