Review

I just got my G6, but I love it soo much. I previously had a Sunfire, so for anyone that would be a big step. It's a beautiful car for the price.

Fun to drive Great car

Review

This is our first new car and we are very satisfied. I love the inside and outside of this vehicle. It's sporty yet great for small family. I think the interieor is awesome and I love the chrome around the speedometer. Great stereo system and the message center is helpful. A couple of downfalls. I thought it would be alittle better on gas and very tight when making a U- turn. I also agree truck opening could be alittle bigger but that would obviously change the outer look. I can fit my stroller and a few other items in. Other than that I would recommend this car and the price was exactly what we wanted. Very good deal.

Favorite Features

Stereo, body color, dashboard, pickup, message center, almost everything!

Turn sharper.

Good looking car, agree with others, ergonomically, could be better, for the money, could have been better trimmed. too early to rate reliability, have only had this vehicle 3 weeks

One touch roof. Interesting observation, with roof down, car has substantial wobble/vibration at speeds above 50MPH. With roof up, it drives like one would expect a GT to handle.

Review

We own a couple of Corvettes, one we have owned for 25 years. We traded an F150 supercrew pickup. We have about 1000 miles on her now and absolutely love this car. First Pontiac in decades. I must say the performance (and I would know :) is fun but the real magic of this car is the retractible roof, what a concept. We compaired the other 40K+ cars with retracts and thought this car was actually a better buy, plus you are buying American. We are getting over 27 mpg and know it will get better as it breaks in. If you are looking for a convertible, look hard at this one. We couldn't be happier!

Performance, retract roof, XM radio, manual automatic mode

Suggested Improvements

Tilt/telescope steering wheel needs some engineering work, rethink the cupholders.

Just last week on I-95 I hit an already dead deer which was in the road..it was dark so i didnt see it until the last min. I ran over the deer at 75mph. the car did great.. no damage and I was in control the whole time. This car may have saved my life. This is a wonderful car to buy!

17in wheels..3.5L V6..great cornering..6 Airbags.

Suggested Improvements

Plastic dash..ABS and Traction control should be standard.

My midlife crisis car

I have been enjoying this car since the day I got it as a birthday present from my hubby! Great looking car, people definitely stop and look. I put on custom chrome wheels and the chrome package on my black G6...looks great. Love the monsoon sound system. I live in the desert so I can put the top down almost every day.

Favorite Features

Hardtop convertible, sound system. Nice looking vehicle. V6 has a lot of power.

Suggested Improvements

Improve turning radius, need OnStar or bluetooth capabilities. Also would have liked the option of having automatic garage opener.

Outstanding Car!

Review

Owned this 2.4cyl G6 for a little over a year now. I cannot count the times people have commented on how clean and sporty it is. It turns on a dime! Very low road noise, comfortable seating, especially in the back lots of leg room! Dash has a sweet design to it. I have all black interior with the chrome bezels on vents and dash. 169HP 4 banger gives me plenty of power if I need to punch it to get on the interstate. Gas mileage is great. Have not had 1 issue with this car yet. Very impresed with the quality and craftmanship that went into this car, it is a base model but you'd swear it looks like you payed more!

Awesome Car!

Review

I am totally pleased with this car! The looks are fresh and cool and the preformance is way beyond my old Grand Am. The car feels solid and is realatively quiet on the road. Also the controls and buttons are well laid out and easy to operate on the go. For the price, the amount of features and innovations is impossible to beat. Also, given the size of the car, it is incredibly roomy in front and back. The driving position is higher, and the dash is lower and pushed back giving great visability. What a great step up in all aspects. The warranty is nice too. Ask about Pontiac's new policy with 5yr bumper to bumper.

Favorite Features

The sunroof is sweet! Also, the red illumination at night gives the car a sportier feel. I also really like the driver information center and the awesome sound system!

Power, but needs other things

I have owned this car for almost 2 years. Overall the car seems good. Real good power from the 3.5 V-6. I get 24.5 MPG. The inside seems a little cheep. I need the visors replaced, the door switch, for the widows replaced, and the black is pealing off the radio. Oh ,and dont even think about a U-Turn in this car.

The V-6. 16" rims. XM radio. Remote start-must have.

Suggested Improvements

I would also like to see a different location for the cup holders up front because the current configuration renders anything other than a pop can bothersome. It would be nice if the rearward visibility was better as well. The front pillers block a lot of your veiw. Cant see the fog lights button.

Nice Surprise

Review

I was not expecting a car like this to handle the way it did. Very tight and nimble. Nor did I expect to get the power from a 4 cylinder, which I bought for the city driving mileage. The engine and transmission mesh very well. Turning is true and direct. I like the variable turning too, finger tip easy at rest and appropriate resistance on the fly. We love everything about this car. We did not think we would get such a smart interior. Nothing phony. What trim there is looks smart. We chose the fun and sun package and the rear spoiler with the mud guards in metalic silver. Looks real sharp and sporty. Got a good deal too.

Favorite Features

The peppy engine, the performance, sun roof, great brakes and sporty styling.

Suggested Improvements

Whatever improvements I would recommend would cost more money and a different car, so that would mean the improvements would be up to me. Initially I would have liked a six cylinder, but living in Queens, or any suburb/city environment, you do not need it.
