This is the most reliable car on the planet. I now have 185,255 miles on it and has never had more than $500 worth of repairs since I bought it 10 years ago new with 7 miles on it. I'd recommend this 1997 to buy used over the other two newer ones any day. The 1997 "3800" engine is what Japanese quality motors are today.
Favorite Features
Head-Up Display, leather 22-way power seats, reliability, factory paint (since I live in a northern midwest climate, the salt chemicals used on the roads in the winter kills any metal not painted over time on any car). I also enjoy the ride quality and lack of any vibrations or wear or tear.
Suggested Improvements
One suggestion is I wish GM would have stuck with the quality materials in this 97 and applied to today's designs out today. I'd hate to see what my 2005 will be like if it ever makes it over 100,000 miles, if it makes it that far. I have no suggetions to make my 97 any better, it's perfect.
