You didn't say if you have automatic temperature control or the standard HVAC. If you have standard (C67) no digital readout, there are two relays that switch. If one is burned, the blower doesn't work on the lower speeds and if the other is burned the system doesn't have the highest blower speed. You need to see a circuit diagram and find the connectors to check all along the circuit for ground and power when the lights are turned on. One way is buy your own factory service manual which was originally printed by Helm Inc. helminc.com. That'll be about $120 including shipping if I recall. You can buy a used version on eBay. Kelly Blue Book says that a Bonneville SSE with 518,000 miles in good condition is worth $1,155 to a private seller. Expect an offer of slightly less than that from a dealer trade-in. KBB says $625 for a trade-in value. I don't think you'll attract any special attention from Pontiac unless it has over one million miles and still the original engine and trans. Read More...

Hello bonneville owners I am a proud owner of an 1989 LE given to me by my grandfather before he died in 2001. At first I wasnt real excited about it, but after a while the car grew on me. It is grey of course the clear coat is gone on most of the car odd roof hood & trunk is peeling but the rest is in tact go figure but the last 2 years I have dedicated to restore the car mechanically ... We also have a 92 Bonneville. Several years ago the same thing happened. It was summer, and just started happening. Nobody could find the problem. One day, in the winter it would start, but continue misfiring from the time it started, then it wouldn't start at all. We found out it was the coil. when i want to start the car, it will not start for approx. 2.5 minutes. It has like a waiting period before it will start. It does not always do it, but 90% of the time. When you drive and want to accelerate, it starts misfiring and shaking. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Read More...
