I have a 2005 Pontiac Aztek. I bought it brand new and have 72,000 miles on it. I just recently started hearing a faintly squeeking noise, so i took it in and they told me I needed a new belt. I have a 2005 pontiac Aztek. 1 year and 3 months ago I took it to the dealer because the transmission was slipping the interior dash lights quit working and the radio lights were dadiung in and out. Read the same Motor Trend story but came away with a different take. The Aztek came before the Rendevous, the new Rendevous while come before the Pontiac version. I was one of those people mentioned in the article who wasn't looking for an aztek, but ended up buying one. My wife and I wanted to keep the out the door price to under $15000.
