We've had our Voyager for 4 years and I and the kids have loved her. She's been super reliable, just oil changes and preventative maintenance until now when she has a major oil leak and needs new brakes and a catalytic converter. We will keep her around for one more year for our 17 year old to drive, but as a family car, her service is done. We were rear-ended on the highway while stopped by someone doing about 45 and none of us suffered any serious injury. The size and distance from front to back and strength of the body (and the grace of God) saved us.
The reliability and size.
Our van has running boards and pretty low clearance so we bottom out a lot. The normal model doesn't have this problem
