I gave it a day to think about it, and accepted, as I didn't know if I countered their offer with a higher amount, they may wash their hands of it and go to arbitration. I recently purchased a 2009 Xterra and am experiencing the same issue with the intermittent vibrations sounds. It has not occured to me that the air conditioning running may have been a factor. I have e-mailed the Nissan Customer Service and am awaiting a response. Truck was purchased with 28K.

took our 2009 xterra in for its first oil change at the local nissan dealer. We had bought it out of town. Drove it home, noticed smoke, I mean a lot of smoke coming out from under the engine. Bought our xterra (off road) 2009 at the end of march for invoice (consumer's report invoice matched) then the $2000 rebate. Don't forget you get taxed on the $2000, whatever your sales tax is. It looks like invoice for SE, 4x4, Tech and XGear package is $28,400 invoice, before $2000 rebate. So yes, $26,355. That still seems really high and only about $4k off since list is around $30k. I read people were getting $10k off last year.... Anyone get something similar on 2009s yet? There has to be other incentives...Nissan reported sales were down 33% in May 2009. I don't think Nissan has re-engineered the clutch. It's a weird situation, where some owners of Frontiers and Xterras have had no trouble and others have. I drive an '06 Frontier 6-Speed and have had no trouble with my clutch, but I have only 20,000 Miles on it.

Hi Zach. If you are set on leasing your next vehicle, then the Xterra is definitely not for you. Nissan is not currently providing any lease support on the 2009 Xterra. As a result, if you were to lease one through Nissan Motor acceptance Corp. right now you would have to use its standard lease money factor. Does anyone have some "insider" knowledge if Nissan will continue the current rebates on the 2009 Xterra or will they get better thru the summer? Has anyone tracked the history? Thanks, desperately looking for an Off Road Xterra but willing to wait.

Thank you for your responses ! I live near Nissan Peacock and those two 2009 xterras they have are 2008 models actually ! Not sure about other dealerships (will call them), but Robbins Nissan, another dealer in my area, don't have 2009 xterras either.. weird, when a new model is released dealerships usually have tons of them.. never seen it on the streets as well. Edmunds.com now has a view inventory link - drill down to the Xterra using your Houston zip code, click on View Inventory near the top left, and it'll find any within 200 miles. They must be rare though - I only see one 2009 model within 200 miles of Boise right now. I don't see anyone posting about buying an '09 over in the Nissan Xterra Prices Paid & Buying Experiences ... Hi guys, Can somebody tell me where 2009 XTerra is ? I don't see it at Nissan dealerships here in Houston. Isn't it due ? It was supposed to be released for sale back in October 2008 as far as I know !? Wanted to take a look at the new 2009 model and drive it, but where the hell is it ??? thanks!
