    New '09 off-road Xterras were quoted to me at 2000 under invoice, plus any and all stuff they can get you to accept like security, blings, etc. The $2,000.00 is Nissan's cash back deal.

    Be careful!!! If the clutch goes out; you also have to replace the hydraulic system/strip, the disc and the bearings, which is $2000-$2500. Because the new clutch systems now require replacement of all parts in order for the clutch system to run properly ( that is according to the service manager at GO Nissan, NorthGlenn, CO).     I have the exact same problem with mine. The fan doesn't come on with the a/c and it runs intermittently. The high side hose on mine looks like it has leaked, but it hasn't.     Bought a 2005 Xterra "S" on the 18th at Planet Nissan in Las Vegas. MSRP with dealer add ons was $23,785. Dealer invoice was $22,273. With $2000 rebate got the Xterra for $20,273 + TTL. Granite color, with the power package, Moulding, Splash Guards, Floormats, Mirror, Cabin Micro Filter, etc. Dealer has quite a few S and SE on the lot. Great, no-hassle dealer! :)

    Yes, Mike, I just purchased a 2005 Xterra 3 weeks ago. I have put 2000 miles on the SUV. Between the 4WD, in town, highway and highway with A/C on, I am averaging 18mpg. Not to bad. Nissan advertises 16 city and 21 highway. I have the 4 liter 6 cyl. :D 265HP. It's a real race horse! :D

    I bought my 2000 xterra new and have had way too many trips to the dealer for maintenance on it. I've had the stereo replaced, the windshield trim replaced twice, fender moldings replaced, illumination switch replaced, and now have to have part of the roof rack replaced. definitely has turned me off from Nissan.
