Bought my Versa two days ago from Nissan in Bellevue, WA. 1.8 SL CVT with Convenience, ABS packages + 5-piece mat set + aluminum kick plate. MSRP on the sticker was $18,165; invoice $17,300. For some reason destination came at $660 instead of $695 quoted on Edmunds and Nissan sites. Negotiations were tough, but me and my wife were able to bring the price down to $16,600. ... not a bad Price that you got on that 2008 virsa hatch back. I no there are good deals to be had but I think the suply of 08's is real lo and anyway the 2009's are out mor options look at the differances from the 2008 and 2009 not menny used ones also hot selling car this Nissan virsa keep on posting the prices payed on your virsa's grate cars love them thankyou for reading. the Corolla's EPA numbers make it appear that its mileage is almost identical to the Yaris/Echo's, but in real world use the smaller models are producing some fantastic figures and very few below 35, whereas many Corolla drivers report much lower numbers. It is much harder in the Corolla to get those 40-plus mpg numbers How does the Civic "real world" mileage ... Read More...

Check some of the recent news iluv. Initially, chrysler was hoping to have the cars built by Chery in production by 2009. The recent developments or lack of development in the areas of safety and emissions has pushed it back to 2012. Chrysler is talking to other manufactures to fill this niche. I think Nissan is the likely candidate using the Versa platform. Read More...

I realize that the Aguascalientes plant isn't new per se, but my point was that the Versa is new to the Aguascalientes plant whereas the Fit is not new it's Suzuki, JP plant. Any time you bring a new car into a plant it has to be re-tooled and the workers must be retained. There's a learning curve for both the plant engineering and the labor force with a production model ... Read More...
