Update: just found out this car was involved in a major accident last year through Carfax report. It says the car was disabled, the whole right side of the car had to be replaced. So I guess it wasn't really a good deal then. zd323 Read More...

I bought a 2007 Versa in July 2006. The first year, it spent more time in the dealer's garage than mine....complete new A/C system, BCM replaced, rear main oil seal leak, TPM re-set 7 times. The dealer and Nissan engineers always took care of us but really inconvenient. The car has now been trouble-free for the last 30,000 miles. Thanks for the plug change info. ... Read More...

I have a 2007 hatch 6-speed with just over 52,000 miles still on the original brakes and I've never run into this. In July, 2006 I bought the first 2007 Versa my dealer ever sold. It was still on a truck from Mexico. They say not to buy the first year model of any car and it couldn't have applied to any car more than this one. I test drove a Versa a couple years ago--2007--because I thought it might be "similar" to the Fit I couldn't find to test drive. The six speed I tested was quite nice but, like others have said, I was put off by the rear seat fold down configuration.
