Hello, I just purchase a 2007 Nissan Versa in October at 400 miles I started hearing a noise from the engine when the car is idle in gear stopped and the brake is applied. From inside the car is sounds like a constant rattle. I took it to the dealership and they can't figure out what the problem is because this is all new to them. I see there is still confusion about the Versa's platform. I have read so many different things in creditable magazines that I really don't care anymore. Some say it is a B ,some say a longer version of the B. I have read that it shares its platform with the Clio and then I have read it is shared with the Megane. VST? That's what robandjeanne call what some refer to as Electronic Stability Control. Many manufacturers have different names for it. I DO agree with what they're trying to say: Nissan/Toyota/Hyundai/Kia and GM (for their rebadged Daewoo Kalos known as the AVEO here) should all offer ESC as an option for their small car segment, or "B" car as it has been generally ... Why is it that the SL, the fine machine that it is IMHO, cannot be optioned with both ABS and the other optional packages COMBINED? It seems that if you want Bluetooth, sunroof and other goodies you can't get ABS, and vice versa. What's up with that? Anyone have a clue? SL is available with all packages combined. I bought a Nissan Versa 2007 in August, the SL trim with no added features. I have been more than happy with its performance. It gives me 30 mpg on my daily mixed inner city/ interstate commute of 20 miles. It drives well, though the slow braking time took some getting used to. It is a Tire Pressure Monitor. Either you have a tire with low pressure or as with many others the Pressure Monitor System need service. On another forum almost everyone that posted has had this problem. The Dealer can use his equipment to reset this. Then all should be OK. Notice I said should be OK.
