It's great to own a Versa
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 SL 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl CVT)
Review
Great car, had Hondas previously and like the Versa so much better, and the top of technology put into it and having a look of a European car. In black it's really cool looking, drives great and has a great sound system. You never see the hood of the car, you look out your windshield and only see the road, really different then any car I've ever driven.
Favorite Features
Bluetooth phone, XM radio, keyless key and sunroof.
Suggested Improvements
Better than advertised

Review
On the highway on 2 occasions in a row I got over 500 miles on one tank of gas - better even than advertised. This is a great car. I have a friend who has a Fit and he drools over my car - it's got more space, same mileage, more power (the fit is like driving a wind-up toy), and the CVT is incredible - what a smooth ride. I have 3 cars - 1 Honda, 1 Toyota, and 1 Nissan. I got the Versa for $1200 less than the Fit for a top of the line model and got the one I wanted right away. Impossible with a Fit.
Favorite Features
Robust engine, CVT, 6 disc CD changer, lots of back seat room, iPod plug-in, rear seat armrest cup-holders, spacious trunk, incredible gas mileage.
Suggested Improvements
I got ABS for only $200 more but it would be nice to have this standard. Center arm rest.

It's a pretty good car
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I'm a college student and I bought this car because it was cheap, cute, and great on gas. It really hasn't let me down. I've had it for about a year now and have put over 9000 miles on it (I'm a commuter). My friends don't mind driving with me because of all the space and leg room. It's tiny and easy to park - it only takes up about half the parking space! Overall, besides a few things, I'm content with the Versa.
Favorite Features
Lots of cupholders! My old car only had one so this is really nice! Love the roominess and leg room. Really comfy, pretty good sound system. Great on gas and cheap to fill with rising gas prices. Big glove box. Roomy trunk.
Suggested Improvements
Blind spots in rear. Not enough pickup. No armrest/center console. Clicking sound coming from from right side of car (hubcap?) really annoying - had it at dealership at least 3x to have them "fix" it. Car not that great on rough roads and bumps.

Fun to Drive
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 SL 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl CVT)
Review
After 7,500 miles driving my Versa during the last 6 months I can say without hesitancy that this is the best little car I have ever owned, and I have owned lots of them from Mercedes to Ford. It's fun to drive and comfortable to ride in. Gas mileage isn't quite as advertised - the best so far 32 MPG on the highway. I am amazed that I don't see more of them on the road. I traded a PT Cruiser for this and I'm glad I did.
Favorite Features
Controls on the steering wheel, including Bluetooth (which I still have not mastered). The smooth transmission is another plus.
Suggested Improvements
Dead spot where you can't see adjacent traffic.

a lot of blind spots
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 SL 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 6M)
Review
The hachback window is small and not enogh veiw out of it. The post from the side rear windows to the hachback window is to broad that is where the blind spots are. The stupid tringle windows in driver and passengers side windows are also a distraction. The sticker said 25 mpg,in town and 36 mpg highway. Well I have not done much highway driving yet but I do not get any where near 25 mpg where I live and I live in the country.
Favorite Features
I do like the electornic key, windows,
Suggested Improvements
Do a way with the tringle windows in front of car, improve veiwing out of hach window. Most of all improve miles per gallon.

So far so good
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 6M)
Review
I'd have to say that over all, it's a pretty solid little car. Good interior space for the segment, especially the back seat. I got the 6 speed manual and boy does it require a lot of shifting. I'm in 6th by 45 mph. The fuel mileage hasn't been what I had hoped for at about 29 mpg with a mostly highway commute. Maybe it will get better with the engine completely broken in.
Favorite Features
Suggested Improvements
Perhaps a little taller final drive gear ratio for a better highway cruise.

Bought the car to drive back and forth from work. I plan on keeping it until it dies or 300,000 miles - whichever comes first. I like the ride and quality feel which isn't what I expected in a subcompact. I wish the gas mileage was better compared to my last car (my Corolla was getting 38), but I am getting between 32-34 which isn't terribly disappointing. The air conditioner is making a disconcerting grinding noise when I first turn it on. I plan to have it checked by the dealer. Otherwise the quality has been excellent. The engine in the car is not very powerful. I like to call it a sewing machine engine. It is sufficient for my usage though.
Favorite Features
The car sits much higher than other subcompact cars. The price was my favorite 'feature'.
Suggested Improvements
A center armrest would be nice. Also more storage compartments along the center console.

Versa (Tiida) in Oz
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
Drove one as a high car here and was looking for a vehicle to buy. Tried a few vehicles not really considering Tiida but kept comparing others to Tiida. Great in traffic - nice to shoot off from the lights while the V8 boys can't afford to shoot off anymore. Comfortable to drive as plenty of adjustment in seat (including height) and steering wheel. Was only going to be a second car but can't really justify spending twice the price for little more than a badge. Read so so reviews in Oz but good to see owners rate this car.
Favorite Features
Comfort, interior space, quiet, nippy, fuel economy, easy to drive and park.
Suggested Improvements
Possibly more options. Don't like cars bein offered without ABS. Don't buy without ABS you may need it one day.

Fun car... gas mileage stinks!!
Vehicle
2007 Nissan Versa 1.8 S 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 6M)
Review
The car is just outright a fun car. I love the bluetooth capabilities considering the phone is my life. I especially love the CVT. It makes the car less noisy and its a smooth ride for the most part. I have not had the car for long but I am beginning to think the car doesn't really get 36 MPG. I am averaging about 28-31 MPG on the highway. The car tends to be a smooth ride with an occasional drifting. Not sure what that is about. I feel my 1999 Grand Am with over 200,000 still gets better gas mileage.
Favorite Features
My favorite feature by far is the intelligent key. Can't live without it now that I have it.
Suggested Improvements
I feel the suggested gas mileage is way off and needs to be corrected. I am not sure I need to break the car in but the whole reason for the purchase was for the gas mileage.
