Am spending an average of $35 a month,
or $800 total, since owning this
vehicle to put out the yellow check
engine light. Have replaced the
throttle body, charcoal cannister and a
vent. Nissan dealer says this is not
unusual, they replace a lot of these
all the time. Cost does not include
total electrical shutdown due to a
short somewhere requiring 3 towings,
just died running along, never did
actually find the short. Truck only has
53000 miles, low for a 97.
If dealer says they have that many
problems, I'm not an unusual case,
should there be a recall or cost
reduction to have these things replaced.
