Great little truck

I've had my Nissan p/u for almost 10 years and have just hit 100k on the odomoter. No major problems with anything. Just the usual battery, tires, and freon replacements every few years or so. If you're looking for a dependable commuter truck with light duty use for hauling things from Home Depot on the weekends, this truck is the one to get!
Favorite Features
Drives like a car. Easy to park and maintain. Logical layout of interior. No major gripes.
Suggested Improvements
Power even for a V6 is not great. Some plastics in the interior have given out rather early in it's life. Mileage is so-so at about 19MPG City, 23MPG Highway. Everything else is great!
One Tough Truck

I have 148000 miles on my truck and never had to make any repairs to date. Dependable is an understatement. With 100,000 miles on her, I towed a 68 plymouth valiant across country (2000 miles) without any problems. I've pulled numerous people out of ditches in snow storms and this truck keeps hauling. I put her through tough challenges and she ask for more. This is one tough truck. I'm still amazed at what it can do. At 148,000 miles my clutch is starting to show a little ware. Its about time. I honestly never have had to do any repairs, only maintenance. It's the best truck ever. I think I'll have her for a long time to come.

I bought this1993 truck from a paint salesman in 1995 to haul building construction materials for a Florida beach duplex that I built that year. He put 45K highway miles on it in two short years. I change the oil every 5K miles. I now use it to commute to work daily and to haul my boat on weekends. I nowhave 130K miles on it (as of 4/9/02) without ANY major component replacements ... just batteries, tires, two headlights and a tail lamp. I've had the bed overloaded beyond its rated capacity onseveral 60 mile road trips. I have poarked it at the construction site next to the Atlantic coastal beach and received NO RUST. That is GOOD reliability!
