Nissan Titan Truck Fires

  • 2010 Nissan Titan Fire

Written by: scarry on Sep 24, 2011 2:15:17 PM

I own a 2010 Nissan Titan with 30000 miles/48000km with bumper to bumper warranty. It was parked in my driveway and was not ran for 5 hours prior. Late at night a knock came to the door with a stranger telling me my truck was on fire. The passenger tail light, rear fender and tailgate and bumper were on fire. I was able to extinguish the fire before fire trucks arrived. ... Read More

Nissan Titan Lease Questions

No problem Nick. NMAC does indeed offer low mileage leases. Its 12,000 mile per year residual values are 2% higher than its 15,000 mile per year resids. NMAC's residuals do vary by trim level, but not by much. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s September buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Titan SE 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00052 and an ... Read More

Thanks Car_man. BTW, do you have an approximate residual for a lower mileage? not sure if they do a 12k or even 10k? also, how much does the spec affect residual? say an SE 4x4? .... wife really put off by economy but if I could secure at lower enough payment, I might able to swing it. Thanks Nick

Greetings David. You're in luck, Nissan introduced lease support on the Titan this month for the first time in a long time. Here's the information that you're looking for. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s August buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Titan LE 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are an attractive .00052 and an unattractive 38%, respectively for consumers who qualify ... Hi snow26. If that's what Automotive News said, then it was wrong. Nissan has $5,000 consumer cash on the 2010 Titan. There really isn't any dealer cash on this model at this time. The dealer that's offering $10,000 off of this truck is likely selling it for less than invoice minus the cash, which needless to say is a very good deal. Hi Steve. Nissan is currently providing an attractive $4,000 cash incentive on the 2010 Titan. Unfortunately, its lease program on this model is not very attractive. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 Titan Crew Cab XE 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00265 and an atrocious 36%, respectively. I personally wouldn't lease a Titan right ... Read More

Carman, Saw where Nissan is providing $4000 lease support on 2010 Titan. Do you know what the residual and money factors are for a 36 month lease. Checked prices on overstock and saw a sale price of $23,600 on a Titan XE Crew Cab with a couple of add-ons. I'm thinking with dealer fees and whatnots, I'm looking at a sale price of around $24,600. Thanks for your help! Steve

I read somewhere a couple of months ago that Nissan was going to discontinue making the Titans after 2010. So I was wondering does anybody know the future of the Frontier Pickups. I would think that Nissan would stay with the smaller pickup and the reason for dropping the Titan was Nissan trying to merge with Chrysler Dodge for the bigger size pickup and technology.

I'm sorry my friend did you say a 3,000 lb payload, or are you just drunk. The F150 is a half-ton pickup it can barely haul 2000 lbs. Even compare the F150 here at Edmunds. The Dodge Ram has the highest payload capacity which is about 2400 lbs my friend. Next is the Toyota Tundra at 2085 lb payload, then it's the Silverado/Sierra at 2010 lbs, then the F150 at 1950 ...
