    I switched to ceramic pads from NAPA at about 300 miles as the stock pads creating black dust drove me crazy. It's been 49K miles since installing those ceramics and they still look like new. I have never had any warping of the rotors nor vibrations while braking. Nissan should've installed ceramic pads from the start. Would've solved all their warping problems. 2005 Titan Crewcab.

    Tell your dealer he is full of ka ka. People are already getting the new brake fix. Some dealers will fix on the 1st complaint, others 2-3 times. Here is doc directly from Nissan.     I use to own a Ford Probe GT and they dumbed down the oil gauge on later years just for this reason. Too many customers would freak out when it bounced around. As another poster said, the gauge will fluctuate w/temp and RPMs.

    Since you posted your question I have watched mine and it stays at the midline. Doesn't fluctuate like you describe, so I don't think the explanation you got sounds right.

    The oil gage on my truck seems to fluctuate between mid-level and high as I drive. I mentioned this to the service dept. and I was told that since it doesn't have a baffle its normal for the needle to sway as I'm driving. I'm not much of a mechanic but this doesn't seem right.

    Its either take the $2500 rebate or the 1% financing, not both. According to dinkytown.com, taking the 1% financing option is the better option. I got the dealer down to invoice cost on the 2004 LE Crew Cab.     I don't think your oil gage should fluctuate while driving. But the statement of no baffle, in the pan is wrong, your measuring pressure not volume.

    Offer $29,500 and be firm. Be ready to walk if he says no. The higher the MSRP, the more profit the dealer gets. Keep in mind that Nissan is already offering $1500 rebate. The dealer should at least kick in $3000 off. Also, since it's near month end, try dealing with the fleet manager. He's more flexible than the sales manager. Good luck!

    My 2005 crew cab SE just turned 800 miles and she is only getting 11 mpg. All of the full sized trucks are stickered with 14/18, but the dealership claims that the Titan should get slightly better fuel mileage, like 15/19.
