After Having my Titan for a while I will tell you this. If you ever get tired of it,( not likely) just go and get yourself a cold air intake. Nismo make the best one for that pickup. And it'll save you a hundred bucks or so. Easy install, and then you will rejuvenate that titan and you will remember how much fun it is to drive

Having owned my Titan for a year and a half I have recentley been doing some research for a new vechicle. After looking at a number of candidates and test driving some, I have come to the same conclustion as before, the Titan is best. I looked closely at the Honda Rigdeline (for its carlike ride), Jeep Rubicon(for its off-road capabilities) and the standard domestic trucks. Although each of the above vechicles had strong points they also had weak areas which disqualified them for me. The Titan I rated at least an 8 in the lowest catogory in this review and in most cases 9 or 10. I now have 80,000 miles on it and it is still the finest truck I have ever driven.

My brakes are terrible. The dealer and Nissan have been trying to fix it since 3900 miles. Now, 4 months later and 5000 more miles, it is still not repaired. Nissan Consumer Affairs doesn't care about anyone. It took them 2.5 weeks just to call back and aclnowledge my problem and then they said that they cannot get any parts? They said that I will just have to wait! Not me, I am gonna dump this for something that can be repaired! I have also had tire troubles, squeaks and a new ceiling console. NISSAN better rethink this one! Best of luck to any other owners of the TITAN!

Huge power, great handling with the
rack and pinion steering, great comfort
and plenty of space!!! What more could
one want in a full size truck? I have
owned Chevys, Fords and a Dodge and
they are not even close when all
factors are considered. Build quality
is first rate and reliability should be
far better than the domestics. Anyone
that puts down this truck has not
driven it. And Nissan ALSO gives their
customers a high tech 5 speed auto
instead of the ancient 4 sp.OD's on the
domestics. The TITAN just flattened
Detroit!!!!! The domestics are playing
catch-up in EVERY market segment as of
now. Great truck, NISSAN!!!!!!!!!!!

I traded in my 2000 SE 4X4 Xterra for
this XE Crew Cab 4X4 'Off Road' Titan.
I can't believe what a better vehicle
this is than the Xterra and even the
Dodge SLT 4X4 Crew cab.
First the milage is only 1 mile less
for both town and road compared to my
Xterra. I'm averaging about 14
miles/gallon. This is during the
breakin which I generally see about 3
miles/gallon better after about 5000
The power is awesome, faster than a
Hemi Ram (Motor Trend/Car & Driver)and
offers a ride comparable to a lux car.
Even my X didn't ride this good. Has
all the goodies in the off road pack.
Fit and Finish are great as well as
the sound system.
